About The Role
As an Assistant, Production, you will have the unique opportunity to apply your experience in hands-on apparel Production, working closely with the team and cross-functional partners on impactful day-to-day responsibilities. You’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in sample management, factory communication, and reporting, contributing to our team's success while developing your skills in production. This role is perfect for motivated individuals seeking to explore their passion for apparel production, develop new competencies, and lay the groundwork for a successful career journey. Responsibilities include:
- Partner with the Production Manager in weekly touch bases to review assignments and progress.
- Maintain key production tools, including the WIP, Costing Chart, Photoshoot Sample Chart, and Own Doc.
- Create and update Item Matrix Attributes, Purchase Orders, and Item Receipts in NetSuite.
- Assign GTIN SKUs in GS1 and upload UPC codes to NetSuite.
- Review TOP samples for accuracy of UPC stickers and care label information.
- Track and coordinate sample statuses with vendors and the Tech Designer.
- Communicate and follow up with factories and cross-functional partners to ensure smooth production processes.
- Organize and manage shared drive files (POs, Costing, Care Labels, etc.).
- Handle inbound and outbound sample and material shipments.
- Schedule and organize weekly fittings and fit photos.
- Maintain line sheets and support preparation for presentations and reviews.
- Keep the design room organized, including materials like fabric cards, trims, and notions.

- Compensation: $23-24/hour + Equity. This is a full-time, non-exempt role. Please note that this range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for the Los Angeles, CA based position. Goop, in good faith, reasonably expects to pay the position within this salary range. Goop provides the salary range in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, training, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
