The Opportunity
To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing to join our Lifecycle Marketing team. This role will play a pivotal role in developing our in-app marketing strategy and advancing our robust email marketing program through innovative technologies, creativity, and data. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in growth marketing, a deep understanding of experimentation, and a proven ability to scale nascent initiatives into sophisticated, mature programs. This is a unique opportunity to drive significant impact across Grammarly’s full customer journey and scale a new channel from the ground up, with executive support and investment.
The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring alignment across the organization in our approach to in-app and email channel strategies.
In this role, you will:
- Lead our in-app marketing vision and strategy in close partnership with Product, Data Science, Legal, Operations, and Engineering teams.
- Contribute to our overall email marketing strategy, driving initiatives, experiments, and campaigns that span the full customer journey.
- Work across various channels, stakeholders, and projects to build models, analyze data, and advise lifecycle channel managers.
- Establish an operational center of excellence for in-app marketing, including governance, UX (e.g., ranking hierarchies, cooldown logic), and compliance, and be a thought leader across the organization.
- Curate reporting to analyze and communicate performance.
Qualifications
- Can flex into both the topline strategy and daily execution of email, in-app, and push campaigns, including building, scheduling, and testing (as needed).
- Use data insights to create high-impact programs with a bias for experimentation.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with marketing, product, engineering, and analytics teams to unlock new opportunities for large-scale efficiency and productivity.
- Prioritize, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and execute ruthlessly; demonstrates both short-term and long-term thinking.
- Collaborates concisely and communicates results and strategic plans with leaders and team members.
- Pull and analyze data and report on campaigns and experiments.

Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.
