As a Technical Program Manager within the Product Test and Diagnosis group you will be responsible for the planning and will contribute to the delivery of manufacturing test solutions to support New Product Introduction (NPI).You will help develop and co-ordinate plans across the team joining them together into a cohesive overall programme. You will be working within the Manufacturing Operations organisation which is comprised of Manufacturing Technology, Supply Chain, Quality, and Product Test and Diagnosis.You will maintain visibility of the Graphcore Product Roadmap to identify upcoming technical challenges that will face Manufacturing Operations.

The Team

The role will be part of the Product Test and Diagnosis group at Graphcore, which has members in Bristol, Cambridge and Taiwan. 

The Product Test and Diagnosis group is comprised of a number of teams which are responsible for, and involved in, the development of test solutions which span from silicon wafers through to complete server racks.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Define, own and communicate the programme plan for manufacturing test solutions, aligning priorities with Manufacturing Operations and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage developments between engineering, operations and manufacturing including ensuring the definition of clear deliverables, timelines and metrics
  • Coordinate and drive new product DfX reviews.
  • Maintain cross functional and multi-regional engineering relationships within Graphcore and at contract manufacturing sites
  • Enhance NPI and New Product Development (NPD) processes by assessing current workflows, identifying efficiency improvements, and implementing best practices.

Candidate Profile 

Essential:

  • Strong project management skills with ability to draw on experience of different methodologies (e.g. waterfall, scrum, agile etc) to identify the most appropriate method for the project
  • Strong understanding of the different test solutions used across the server product lifecycle, including silicon wafers, packaged devices, PCB assemblies, server blades, and server racks
  • Ability to understand the interaction between hardware design, manufacturing and test in order to provide DfM feedback
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as in cross functional and cross regional teams by employing strong interpersonal skills

Desirable

  • Experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing or other high mix/high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MSProject etc would be beneficial
  • Experience working with cutting edge suppliers in Semiconductor, PCBA and System Manufacturing 
  • Demonstrable experience delivering manufacturing test solutions
