We are looking for a Supply Chain Data Analyst who will report to the Supply Chain Director and provide data support across logistics, manufacturing, and purchasing. The role will focus on data management, reporting, and visualization to deliver accurate insights and support effective decision-making across our global supply chain.

 

The Team

The role will be part of the Supply Chain team at Graphcore. This team is part of the Operations group and has members in Bristol and Taiwan. The team is responsible for developing and managing a robust manufacturing subcontract supply chain for Graphcore, and this role will specifically support the team by managing and analysing data to improve visibility, reporting accuracy, and overall supply chain performance.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., supplier performance, WIPs, material readiness, logistics KPIs, purchasing spend).
  2. Prepare and deliver periodic reports and presentations for management review, including charts, tables, and advanced Excel-based analysis.
  3. Conduct scenario analysis (e.g., capacity, demand fluctuations, cost factors, material availability) through data modelling.
  4. Analyse KPIs and supply chain metrics (lead times, supplier adherence, cost drivers, demand/supply imbalances) to identify risks and opportunities.
  5. Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
  6. Ensure consistency in data governance and reporting standards across supply chain functions.

 

Candidate Profile 

Essential:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain data analysis or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, VBA).
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Good understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver).
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with fluency in English; Chinese proficiency highly preferred.

 

Desirable

  • Good communication skills 
  • Experience in the semiconductor, high-tech, or electronics industry.
  • Familiarity with MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power App) & ERP system.
