Performance Marketing Manager - Customer Lifecycle

Atlanta, Georgia, United States; Boston, Massachusetts, United States; Chicago, Illinois, United States; Indianapolis, Indiana, United States

At Greenlight Guru, we help the world’s most innovative medical device companies bring high-quality, life-changing products to market faster. We serve 1000+ global customers with our quality management and clinical data capture software, helping them get their products on the market and keep them there.

When you join the team at Greenlight Guru, you’ll be a part of a collaborative, mission-driven team working in one of the most exciting and rewarding industries on the planet. Backed by JMI Equity, one of the premier growth equity firms for SaaS companies, Greenlight Guru is growing—and looking for individuals who are difference makers. Is that you?

About this role:

We are hiring a Performance Marketing Manager - Customer Lifecycle to join our Marketing Team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will design and execute marketing campaigns that drive measurable outcomes across our existing customer base. This role is focused on influencing key post-sale metrics - including onboarding, migrations, product adoption, renewals, and expansion - through targeted, data-driven initiatives.

You will work closely with Customer Success to align to their goals and priorities, and to translate them into actionable marketing programs. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and is motivated by impact and outcomes, not customer engagement. This is a rare opportunity to build scalable customer growth programs at a critical stage of our company’s expansion.

Your contributions and responsibilities:

  • Translate CS priorities into action: Collaborate closely with Customer Success to understand their strategic goals and turn them into scalable marketing initiatives that support onboarding, migration, adoption, expansion, renewal, and advocacy
  • Own customer lifecycle campaigns: Plan and execute segmented marketing campaigns across key lifecycle stages, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.
  • Own scaled customer communications: Lead 1:few and 1:many customer communications that support key lifecycle moments—such as product updates, onboarding guidance, migration offers, and renewal plays. Collaborate with Customer Success, who owns 1:1 outreach, to ensure alignment and message consistency. And, collaborate with Product on operational comms.
  • Segment and target effectively: Use customer data and lifecycle triggers to segment audiences, deliver insights to CS and the broader org about those customers (voice of customer), and deliver timely, relevant messaging aligned with their journey.
  • Optimize for performance: Understand the customer journey and how your campaigns will affect key outcomes. Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance towards those outcomes; test and iterate to maximize impact on KPIs.
  • Leverage Martech tools: Execute campaigns using Salesforce, HubSpot, ChurnZero, and other tools; manage workflows end-to-end in partnership with design and content resources.
  • Activate customer insights: Use behavioral and account signals to prioritize efforts and personalize communications that drive action, not just awareness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with customer success, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on customer strategies, feedback loops, and customer marketing initiatives

Your ideal qualifications:

  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with a focus on lifecycle, retention, or performance marketing programs targeting existing customers
  • Demonstrated success executing marketing programs that drive measurable outcomes such as onboarding success, product adoption, renewals, migrations, and expansion
  • Strong campaign execution skills with the ability to independently manage programs from brief through measurement
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing campaign performance and optimizing for impact
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, particularly with Customer Success and Product Marketing, to align on business goals and translate them into action
  • Comfortable working in a high-velocity, resource-constrained environment with minimal structure or existing playbooks
  • Proficiency with Salesforce required; experience with HubSpot, ChurnZero, and 6Sense preferred
  • Experience with product-led growth motions strongly preferred
  • Background in MedTech or other complex, regulated industries preferred but not required

Benefits you’ll enjoy:

  • Flexible Paid Time Off policy and working hours
  • Home Office stipend for new hires
  • Multiple Medical Insurance options, plus Dental and Vision
  • 401k (with company match)
  • Equity Program Eligibility (based on role and/or tenure)
  • Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave
  • Disability insurance

This is a remote role that will ideally be located within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, Chicago, Boston, OR Atlanta. The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 per year.  Actual base salary is determined by factors such as, but not limited to, experience, education, skills, and geographic location.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
