Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Role 

The AR Collections Specialist will be the key support partner of the Accounts Receivable team for all activities related to accounts receivable collections. You’re analytically and technically inclined and can manage, administer and improve our order-to-cash systems, processes and policies.  You know how to work cross functionally across many teams and are ready to chip in to ensure success for all of GTI.

Responsibilities 

  • You will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks related to Collections process, including emailing of statements, standard customer communications, and tracking of status updates. 
  • Create, manage, optimize and maintain records, and assist in the creation of weekly collections call agendas. 
  • Centrally track and report out on: aged, or aging customer balances, as directed by leadership; customer shipment holds payment plan compliance monitoring; COD plan compliance monitoring; and customer communications regarding the same. 
  • Collaborate with the Sales Operations team and redirect communications regarding customer requests for credits. 
  • Gather and provide necessary paperwork for customer balances sent to collections. 
  • Assist with tracking and reporting of balances in collections. 
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelors’ Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in an inside sales role, or supporting an inside sales team. 
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Excel including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, etc. for turn-key sales use. 
  • Experience building documentation for processes and systems. 
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced, high-growth environment. 
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally & externally. 
  • Possesses a high level of critical thinking. 
  • Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.

Additional Requirements 

  • Must pass any and all required background checks  
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry  
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age 

The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.

Green Thumb Pay Range

$47,840 - $54,080 USD
