Creative Project Manager, Beverage

The Role 

Strategic organizer / Prioritization perfectionist / Timeline trooper / RACI enforcer — The Creative Project Manager role on the Beverage team is a dynamic, resourceful individual who thrives at the intersection of Marketing & Creative teams managing priorities, team bandwidth, and timeline creation thru final deliverables. This role focuses on facilitating structure to align priorities between Beverage Brand, Trade, Creative Director & Senior Leadership projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized, extremely adaptable leader who excels in a fast-paced environment, managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring alignment across various teams as well as on-time delivery. 

The Creative Project Manager, Beverage, will work closely with Marketing & Senior Leadership to understand priorities, translating those into timelines once the creative team’s bandwidth is confirmed. From creative campaigns, trade programs, and strategic brand initiatives to events & partnerships, this role requires a strong blend of project management expertise, creative problem-solving, and ideally an understanding of the beverage marketing asset production process. 

This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days in office per week at our Chicago (River North) office. 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Project Leadership: Drive the prioritization & execution of all key Beverage Marketing projects for our beverage brands, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope. Act as the primary source of truth, coordinating efforts across immediate & cross-functional teams, and external vendors as needed 
  • Process Development / Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to create and optimize project management processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. 
  • Prioritization Champion: Be the champion and conduit for making prioritization decisions with key stakeholders. Communicate clearly the trade-offs and work to find solutions for mitigation.  
  • Accountability Management: Act as the keeper of marketing function RACIs and work to ensure that all key stakeholders are engaged appropriately on assigned projects   
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, timelines and KPIs. Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines while anticipating potential challenges and proactively identifying solutions. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Creative, Trade Marketing, Brand Experiential, and Brand Equity teams to translate brand strategies into impactful projects. Facilitate effective communication between teams to ensure a cohesive approach and shared vision. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including creative agencies, vendors, and RYTHM, Inc. executives & brand owners. Ensure all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Data & Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of projects. Report on project performance, providing recommendations for future improvements based on learnings and feedback. 

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred. 
  • 5+ years of project management experience in marketing or related fields, with a strong focus on creative and marketing initiatives. 
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects, preferably within the cannabis or consumer goods industry. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Monday.com or similar platforms. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. 

Additional Requirements 

  • Must pass any and all required background checks  
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry  
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.

Green Thumb Pay Range

$80,000 - $110,000 USD
