Digital & Ecommerce Product Manager – Shopify

Position Summary:
Greenworks Tools is seeking a Digital Product Manager specializing in Shopify to drive the day-to-day execution of our eCommerce strategy. In this role, you'll oversee the Shopify platform, manage feature enhancements, and work cross-functionally to ensure our digital storefront remains innovative, user-friendly, and conversion-focused. Your work will be crucial in maintaining an agile and data-driven approach to optimize the online customer journey.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Agile Execution & Sprint Support:
•    Sprint Coordination:
      Assist in planning, running, and documenting agile sprints with development and UX teams for multiple digital channels including Mobile app, Desktop site and Mobile web. 
     Help prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of mobile app, desktop and mobile-web features and digital improvements.
•    User Story Creation:
     Draft detailed agile user stories and acceptance criteria based on business requirements and user feedback.
    Collaborate with team members to clarify requirements and resolve any blockers during the sprint cycle.

Mobile App & Digital Channel Management:
•    Product Support:
    Support the day-to-day management of our mobile app, desktop site, and mobile web ensuring smooth execution of new features and ongoing enhancements.
    Work with cross-functional teams to implement updates that enhance user experience and drive engagement.
•    Execution of Digital Roadmap:
    Assist in executing the digital product roadmap, contributing ideas and feedback to improve the overall customer experience across mobile app, web, and desktop channels.

Data-Driven Insights & Analytics:
•    Performance Monitoring:
    Use Google Analytics and other data tools to track app performance, user engagement, and conversion metrics.
    Analyze data to identify trends, provide insights, and suggest improvements to optimize the customer journey.
•    Reporting:
    Generate regular reports on product performance and sprint progress, sharing actionable insights with stakeholders.

Business Case & Agile Artifacts Development:
•    Business Case Creation:
    Assist in developing business cases for new digital initiatives, outlining the value proposition, expected ROI, and strategic alignment.
•    Agile Documentation:
    Create and maintain comprehensive agile documentation, including user stories, process flows, and sprint retrospectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
•    Team Communication:
    Serve as a key liaison between development, UX/design, and business teams, ensuring alignment on product goals and priorities.
•    Stakeholder Engagement:
    Participate in regular meetings with product stakeholders to review progress, gather feedback, and adjust priorities as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:

Education & Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    2-3 years of experience in digital product management or a related role, preferably with exposure to mobile apps and eCommerce environments.

Technical & Analytical Skills:
•    Familiarity with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and basic agile methodologies.
•    Experience using Google Analytics and other data platforms to inform decision-making.
•    Basic understanding of mobile app ecosystems, user experience best practices, and digital product lifecycle management.

Soft Skills & Competencies:
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
•    Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
•    A proactive, data-driven mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
•    Ability to translate complex data and user feedback into actionable product insights.
