About the Position

Groome Industrial Service Group is seeking a Sandblaster to join our Montana office.

Key Responsibilities:

Sandblast a variety of substrates using different sandblasting media and grits.
Meet job time frame estimates while maintaining a steady work pace.
Assist with preparation for sandblasting tasks (e.g., cleaning surfaces, masking areas).
Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs as required for sandblasting tasks.
Work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
Collaborate with team members to support other tasks when sandblasting is not available.
Maintain sandblasting equipment and keep it in good working condition.
Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and quality results.

What does it take to work for Groome Industrial Service Group?

Strong work ethic and dependability.
Experience with sandblasting different materials and using different sandblasting media.
Ability to meet job time frames and maintain productivity during full 8-hour shifts.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Preferred (but not required):

Ownership of personal tools or equipment.
Ability to repair sandblasting equipment after possible breakdowns.
Forklift experience.
