Event Coordinator (Contract)

What You’ll Be Doing:
We are looking for an Event Coordinator to help us support the Employee Experience and Event Production team at Growtherapy, and who will work on our internal event. Your responsibilities will include:
- Hotel Room Coordination:
- Work directly with the Event Producer to manage and maintain accurate hotel rooming lists for events.
- Compile and organize sleeping room and banquet space needs with hotel partners.
- Food & Beverage (F&B) Management:
- Manage food and beverage requests for offsite events, ensuring that all needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- A/V Coordination:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all audio-visual needs, working with vendors to ensure proper setup and operation for each event.
- Logistical Support:
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Event Producer, assisting with tasks such as scheduling, vendor communication, and general event management.
- Assist in managing and tracking budgets, timelines, and key milestones.
- Perform other event-related duties as assigned by the Event Producer, including but not limited to guest management, on-site event support, and working with brand and design.
The salary range for this position is $35 - $40/hour USD.
You’ll Be a Good Fit If:
- You are skilled at communicating effectively with a high level of customer service, maintaining professional working relationships with hotels, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Previous experience in event coordination or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google Suite is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
