About the role

We're seeking an Associate, Finance and Strategy to play a crucial role in driving our financial planning and strategic initiatives. In this position, you'll work across the organization to develop financial models, analyze business performance, and lead cross-functional projects that maximize shareholder value. You'll partner with leadership to ensure we have accurate financial data, meaningful insights, and well-crafted presentations to guide critical business decisions. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's financial health and strategic direction while working with diverse teams across the organization. This role reports directly to Senior Manager, Finance and Strategy

This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a bi-annual basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analysis
• Build ad hoc models to evaluate new opportunities and strategies, providing data-driven recommendations to leadership
• Prepare and present business reviews to align stakeholders on business performance and OKR progress
• Lead and execute cross-functional initiatives aimed at maximizing profitability and operational efficiency
• Create and refine KPI reporting to monitor business performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Own variance analysis for business expenses, working to maintain tight variance on Opex
• Streamline financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Support leadership with financial insights for investor communications and strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify and implement value-enhancing opportunities

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance
• Demonstrates strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities
• Excels at creating clear, compelling presentations for diverse audiences
• Has advanced Excel skills and proficiency with PowerPoint
• Possesses SQL knowledge with R and/or Python experience (preferred)
• Takes ownership of projects and drives them to completion
• Challenges conventions and pushes boundaries to find innovative solutions
• Shows enthusiasm for learning and professional development
• Demonstrates agility in problem-solving and prioritization
• Communicates concisely and effectively with various stakeholders
• Exhibits strong attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective
