THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Global Partners Operation Lead to our Global Payments team in São Paulo!   

This role is to join our Global Payments Team within Partner Operations. Our team is responsible for managing all payment calculations that fall outside the standard payment system. This includes creating, analyzing, and controlling exceptional payments, while also providing support to the Finance team on payment-related issues. The team handles key processes such as manual calculations, exception payments, retroactive validations, and repayment cases. We play a critical role in ensuring that any payment discrepancies or non-standard cases are properly addressed and processed within the partner's workflow.

• Streamline manual and exception payment workflows for efficiency.
  
• Ensure precise payments and reduce errors in exceptional cases.
  
• Support Finance in resolving payment discrepancies and maintaining smooth communication.
  
• Ensure exceptional payments are handled well to maintain strong partner relationships.
  
• Lead and mentor the team, with current 1 assistant, fostering growth in payment operations.
  
• Identify process improvements and prioritize tasks aligned with company goals.
  
• Oversee consistent global payment operations, managing international challenges.

WHO YOU ARE

• Exceptionally organized, with the ability to manage multiple complex payment processes simultaneously and maintain attention to detail.
  
• Strong knowledge of SQL to perform payment queries, analyze data, and extract insights from the payment system.
  
• Able to analyze large sets of payment data, identify trends, and solve complex payment-related issues.
  
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving exceptions, payment discrepancies, and retroactive cases efficiently.
  
• Pays close attention to accuracy, especially in manual calculations and exceptional payments, to ensure no errors in payment processing.
  
• Able to clearly communicate in English with cross-functional teams, including Finance, partners, and internal stakeholders, to resolve payment issues.
  
• Able to adapt to changing processes, requirements, and systems in a fast-paced, global environment.
  
• Works well with a global team, ensuring seamless collaboration across different regions and departments.
