TEAM OVERVIEW

This role is for the Risk and Fraud team where you'll join a dynamic team focused on managing and mitigating risks for Wellhub. As a Risk and Fraud Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and preventing fraudulent activities, contributing to a secure and trustworthy ecosystem. This position involves working closely with team leaders to execute, refine, and improve fraud detection strategies and strengthen our approach to risk management. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in a critical area, where you can make a significant impact by helping to protect our business and its stakeholders.


YOUR IMPACT

  • Lead the analysis of suspicious behaviors across all areas of the ecosystem to identify and prevent fraudulent activity

  • Drive the development and implementation of new fraud detection rules and processes to enhance our security measures.

  • Own the investigation of complex fraud cases from initial detection to resolution.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and customer experience, to address fraud-related issues.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to risk and fraud management.

  • Partner with data scientists to improve predictive models and tools for fraud detection.

  • Establish and maintain detailed records of fraud cases and actions taken.

  • Achieve or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fraud loss reduction and case resolution time.


WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a foundational understanding of risk and fraud principles, gained through professional experience or relevant studies.

  • We are open to candidates with 1–3 years of experience or those who can demonstrate equivalent analytical skills from other fields.

  • You have a curious and analytical mind, with a passion for solving complex problems.

  • You are a strong communicator and a true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

  • You have the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency with spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Experience querying databases using SQL is a strong plus, and we provide training to help you grow this skill.

  • Familiarity with data visualization concepts is preferred.

  • Business-level proficiency in English is required as it is the primary language of our team.
