Job Overview
Harbinger Motors are looking for an experienced Corporate GL Accountant with a strong accounting background in fixed assets and month-end close. This role will be responsible for accounting and reporting for fixed assets, ensuring accurate and timely month-end close of accounting records and cash reconciliations. This role requires advanced analytical skills, extensive experience in accounting practices, a thorough understanding of GAAP, and the ability to influence financial decision-making.
What You’ll Do:
- Record recurring and non-standard journal entries to ensure accurate accounting
- Reconcile certain General Ledger account balances, including cash, other assets and payroll-related accounts.
- Responsible for fixed assets and prepaids.
- Reconcile Fixed Assets accounts.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Operations, Engineering and Logistics departments to ensure accurate recording of data.
- Manage month close-end calendar.
- Prepare and maintain monthly fixed assets roll-forward.
- Analyze and explain monthly variances and fluxes.
- Assist with the financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements to ensure accounting procedures and reporting conform to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Assist with various special projects as required.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- CPA/CPA Eligibility preferred, but not required.
- Proven experience in fixed assets, month-end close and account balances reconciliation processes.
- NetSuite experience preferred.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

California Pay Range
$105,000 - $120,000 USD
