Team Lead, IT Applications, Corporate Legal Technology

Harbor is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Team Lead with 7-8 years of relevant experience preferably in Legal Technology (e.g., Luminance, Salesforce, Litify, Agiloft, Ironclad, Onit, TeamConnect, iManage, NetDocuments). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of business process automation tools, platform-based configurable products, and the software development lifecycle. This role requires strong communication and analytical skills to effectively support and implement software solutions while serving as a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Work Location & Hours: This is a remote/hybrid position in Manila, Philippines.   For the first 3-6 months, employees will align with USA business hours (9am - 5pm EST).  Following these first several months, Harbor will adjust the schedule to better fit Manila hours based on long-term Harbor and client needs.  The long-term schedule will be finalized after the first 9 months of employment.  Also, there may also be a week of training early on, in person at the Manila office, during Manila business hours.  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage an internal team of 3-4 Harbor resources to ensure that they are on track on deliverables and ensure that their work product is validated prior to turning over to the Harbor US or client team.
  • Attend client calls with the Harbor US team and understand the client processes firsthand.
  • Document the client processes and assist local team members in gaining familiarity with those processes.
  • Provide Legal Technology application support and assist in software implementation projects.
  • Work closely with Harbor, Legal Technology Vendor resources, and client resources to support data migration and integration development projects.
  • Be open to learning new technologies, such as Luminance, Salesforce, Litify, Agiloft, Ironclad, Onit, TeamConnect, iManage, and NetDocuments to support Harbor implementation projects.
  • Work closely with clients and internal Harbor team to understand their business processes and configure solutions accordingly.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Act as a customer advocate within the organization, ensuring customer needs are understood and met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and customer success.
  • Analyze client issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide effective resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Set accurate expectations with customers and proactively communicate updates throughout the support lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Maintain high responsiveness and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide training to the local Harbor resources to help them gain greater expertise in the Legal Technologies being implemented.

Experience, Education and Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or Data & Analytics.  
  • Understanding of the implementation process including requirement analysis, design, configuration/development, migration, testing, and change management.  
  • Proven success with managing others and fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Strong observational, analytical and numerical reasoning skills.  
  • Effective communication and storytelling skills (written and spoken).  
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude and entrepreneurial spirit with an eagerness to quickly learn and develop new skills.  
  • Competent in the following areas: leadership, mentoring, problem solving, customer-focus, communication, collaboration and punctuality.  
  • Advanced computer skills (primarily Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio); familiarity with use of Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint as collaboration tools.  
  • Proficiency in the following technical areas: Java, Python, XML, JQUERY/JSON, REST APIs is an advantage.  
  • Proficiency in SQL is an advantage.
