Manager, Commercial Analytics
Harrow | Reports to: Sr. Director, Business Insights & Analytics
Position Summary
The Manager, Commercial Analytics owns end-to-end delivery of commercial analytics reporting for Harrow’s Commercial Operations team, including KPI dashboards, territory performance tracking, and brand-level trend analysis. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Business Insights & Analytics, this role serves as a key analytical partner to Commercial, Finance, and Market Access, supporting field performance management, executive decision-making, and incentive compensation (IC) administration.
Core Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of commercial analytics reporting, including weekly and monthly KPI dashboards, territory performance tracking, and brand-level trend analysis.
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models connected to the Harrow Data Warehouse, specialty pharmacy feeds, and claims data sources.
- Develop and socialize new KPI definitions in partnership with Commercial, Finance, and Market Access stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy across all reporting outputs, establishing and maintaining QA and validation processes for all reports.
- Serve as the primary analytical resource for ad hoc data requests from Sales, Commercial Operations, and executive leadership.
- Support incentive compensation (IC) design, administration, and reporting during IC cycles and other high-demand periods.
- Partner with the Sr. Director, Business Insights & Analytics to build new analytical capabilities and support the team’s expansion into additional strategic priorities.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior analytics team members as the function grows.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Analytics, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial analytics, including 1+ years within pharma or biotech.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and data modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical commercial data sources (e.g., specialty pharmacy, 867 data, IQVIA/Symphony).
- Demonstrated experience in KPI development and stakeholder reporting.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or cloud data warehouse platforms preferred.
- Specialty ophthalmic or rare disease background preferred.
- Experience with hub or specialty pharmacy (SP) data preferred.
- PL-300 (Power BI) certification a plus.
