Product Marketing Manager

San Francisco, California; Rohnert Park, California

Heartflow is a medical technology company advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, the #1 cause of death worldwide, using cutting-edge technology. The flagship product—an AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac test supported by the ACC/AHA Chest Pain Guidelines called the Heartflow FFRCT Analysis—provides a color-coded, 3D model of a patient’s coronary arteries indicating the impact blockages have on blood flow to the heart. Heartflow is the first AI-driven non-invasive integrated heart care solution across the CCTA pathway that helps clinicians identify stenoses in the coronary arteries (RoadMap™Analysis), assess coronary blood flow (FFRCT Analysis), and characterize and quantify coronary atherosclerosis (Plaque Analysis). Our pipeline of products is growing and so is our team; join us in helping to revolutionize precision heartcare.

Heartflow is a publicly traded company (HTFL) that has received international recognition for exceptional strides in healthcare innovation, is supported by medical societies around the world, cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Canada, and has been used for more than 750,000 patients worldwide.

This is a high-impact role for an MBA graduate who wants to own the story of a category-defining medical technology company. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be the connective tissue between Product, Clinical, Sales, and Marketing Communications. You will own how Heartflow solutions are positioned, launched, and adopted in the field, and you will turn customer, clinical, and market insight into messaging, programs, and tools that help physicians and health systems choose Heartflow. You will work on real launches with real visibility, and success is measured by adoption, utilization, and the quality of the commercial decisions you inform.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

  • Market and customer insight: Build a deep understanding of the patient journey, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities. Bring voice-of-customer and field feedback back to Product Management to shape the roadmap.
  • Positioning and messaging: Develop and maintain differentiated positioning, value propositions, and key messages for each product and audience, including cardiologists, radiologists, interventional cardiologists, referring physicians, and hospital administrators.
  • Go-to-market strategy and launches: Lead launch planning and execution for new products, features, and platform enhancements, from strategy and timelines through commercialization and adoption tracking.
  • Adoption and utilization strategy: Identify barriers to adoption within target customer segments, work cross-functionally to build plans that remove them, and pursue deeper reach in existing accounts.
  • Campaigns and omnichannel programs: Partner with Marketing Communications to design and run integrated campaigns that reach and educate target customers across channels.
  • Sales and field enablement: Build the tools the field needs to win: sales presentations, solution briefs, case studies, demo and value materials, and training content. Partner with Sales leadership, Sales Training, and field advisors to make sure the tools get used.
  • Clinical evidence and thought leadership: Translate complex clinical evidence and health economics data into clear, credible claims and commercial messaging. Work with Clinical and Medical Affairs to develop educational and thought leadership content, and engage physicians and key opinion leaders as advisors.
  • Compliance: Work with Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, and Medical teams so that marketing materials and programs go through the required review processes and meet applicable requirements.
  • Metrics and forecasting: Set measurable goals, manage timelines across activities, and take a data-driven approach to evaluating program effectiveness. Support product forecasting and business planning.
  • Cross-functional alignment: Align Marketing, Sales, Product, Clinical, Customer Success, and Professional Education on a single, consistent market narrative across every customer touchpoint.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Strategic thinking: The ability to frame ambiguous problems, size opportunities, set marketing strategy, and defend recommendations with data and clear rationale.
  • Execution: A bias for action, strong project management, and a track record of driving programs from plan to results.
  • Storytelling: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to turn technical or clinical detail into something a sales rep can use in a five-minute conversation.
  • Influence without authority: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rally Sales, Product, Clinical, and Marketing partners around a shared plan.
  • Analytical rigor: Comfort with market research, competitive analysis, and performance metrics, and the judgment to know which numbers matter.
  • Customer curiosity: Genuine interest in how clinicians and health systems work, and a habit of grounding decisions in observed practice rather than assumption.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Self-motivated and flexible, and comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where priorities evolve.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • MBA from an accredited institution (required). A bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing, product marketing, market development, commercial strategy, consulting, or a related field. Pre-MBA experience and substantive MBA internships or rotations count toward this requirement.
  • Experience in medical device, life sciences, diagnostics, digital health, or healthcare technology is strongly preferred, as is experience developing or launching marketing initiatives that drove adoption.
  • Experience working with or alongside sales organizations, such as field sales, field marketing, or sales enablement, is a plus.
  • Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment, and familiarity with cardiology or medical imaging, are a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site at our San Francisco or Rohnert Park, California office. Occasional travel to customer sites, conferences, and company events may be required.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $160,000 to $175,000, bonus, and equity.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
