HVAC Apprentice

Position Overview:

Kickstart your career in the HVAC industry with HELP as an HVAC Apprentice! We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. In this role, you will assist experienced technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in Installations: Work alongside Lead Technicians to install and configure HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry best practices.
  • Maintenance Support: Assist in performing routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Troubleshooting: Learn to diagnose HVAC issues under the guidance of experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience in problem-solving.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients and addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Documentation: Help maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used, completing necessary forms and reports.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to promote a safe workplace.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, learning from experienced technicians and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Learning and Development: Take initiative in learning about HVAC systems, tools, and industry practices to enhance your skills and knowledge.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED is required; completion of a relevant HVAC training program is a plus.
  • Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude, eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and at heights; must possess physical stamina and dexterity.
