SUMMARY

The Sales Manager – Wearable Safety Solutions will lead HexArmor's dedicated wearable technology sales initiative while directly contributing to revenue growth through personal selling activities.

 

This player-coach role will be responsible for managing a team of Regional Category Sales Specialists while developing strategic customer relationships, driving new business, and establishing HexArmor as a leader in wearable safety technology. The ideal candidate combines strong sales leadership skills with a proven ability to personally win complex enterprise opportunities.

 

LOCATION

Primarily working out of a remote home office with expected domestic travel. Home office location is flexible, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Leadership

  • Recruit, coach, and develop a team of Regional Category Sales Specialists.
  • Establish sales goals, performance metrics, and territory strategies.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and opportunity coaching sessions.
  • Drive accountability and performance across the sales team.

Business Development

  • Maintain personal responsibility for strategic account development and revenue generation.
  • Engage directly with executive-level decision makers and key stakeholders.
  • Lead complex opportunities through evaluation, pilot, implementation, and expansion.
  • Develop reference customers and case studies.

Commercial Strategy

  • Partner closely with the Product Manager to develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and customer needs.
  • Collaborate on forecasting, budgeting, and business planning.
  • Provide market feedback to support future product development.

Customer Engagement

  • Present wearable safety solutions to operations, safety, engineering, HR, and executive leadership teams.
  • Develop ROI-based business cases focused on injury reduction, productivity improvement, and workforce sustainability.
  • Support large-scale implementations and strategic customer initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity management through Salesforce.
  • Monitor sales performance and key business metrics.
  • Manage travel, customer investments, and team expenses responsibly.

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives.
  • Experience leading sales teams while maintaining direct selling responsibilities.
  • Strong executive-level presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with industrial technology, safety solutions, SaaS, automation, robotics, ergonomics, or related industries preferred.
  • Ability to travel approximately 60%.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience.
  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or distribution environments preferred.

 

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary plus Commission
