Position Summary
We are looking for a Founding Technical Sourcer for HeyGen. You will play a significant role in driving our sourcing strategy for technical roles. You will partner closely with leadership, hiring managers, and the Talent team to identify and attract the best talent with an emphasis on AI Research and Software Engineering.
This position can work out of either our San Francisco or Palo Alto office.
Core Responsibilities
The HeyGen Recruiting team is responsible for all aspects of recruiting and talent management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop recruiting strategies to attract, source, and engage the best talent
- Utilize various sourcing methods (e.g. whitepapers, job boards, networking events, employee referrals, other creative channels) to build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Work with hiring teams to map out headcount needs, job descriptions, interview loops, market intelligence.
- Map out where strong research or technical talent are by staying on top of industry trends, and competitive intelligence, especially in the AI space.
- Build out great candidate experience at every stage of the recruiting process from start to finish.
- Partner with talent teams from kick-off meetings to engagement to hire with your recruiting partner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1+ years of in-house, high-volume technical sourcing or recruiting experience.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods.
- Ability to handle multiple job openings simultaneously.
- Strong decision-making skills.
Bonus points
- Experience with modern recruiting tools (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Gem etc)
- Experience hiring for AI research positions

Salary Range
$90,000-110,000

HeyGen considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal equity, as well as location, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
