Position Overview

We are hiring a Strategic Field Marketing Manager for the AMER region to build community-first event programs and deepen relationships with our core audiences. You will design and run a portfolio of intimate meetups, executive dinners, user groups, workshops, and partner activations that create affinity and drive measurable pipeline. You will also support Sales-Led Growth conferences such as MAICON and DevLearn, owning pre-event, in-event, and post-event motions that convert interest into meetings and deals. This role will start at a long term contract opportunity.  You will partner closely with Community, Demand Gen, and Sales to hit pipeline and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

  • Own the integrated AMER field strategy aligned to our community-led marketing strategy and demand gen priorities. 
  • Build the annual and quarterly program calendar covering community events, third-party conferences, and regional campaigns.
  • Develop clear event theses, goals, target lists, offers, and success metrics for every program.

Community Programs

  • Design and execute repeatable community formats: customer spotlights, hands-on workshops, user groups, executive roundtables, and co-hosted meetups.
  • Partner with advocates to source speakers, venues, and audiences.
  • Deliver high-touch experiences that strengthen relationships and accelerate opportunities.

Conferences and Sponsorships

  • Lead SLG presence at events like MAICON, DevLearn, and Web Summit: booth strategy, speaking abstracts, demos, staffing plans, and onsite offers.
  • Own end-to-end event execution, including pre-event outreach, at-event scheduling, and post-event follow up with SDRs. 
  • Negotiate packages, manage vendors, and ensure on-brand creative and messaging.
  • Map programs to target account lists in Salesforce. .
  • Partner with Sales and BDRs on invitations, 1:1 meeting setting, and post-event cadences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Creative on booth designs, swag, leave-behinds, etc. 
  • Partner with Community on overall strategy to create feel-good moments with our key audiences and jumpstart a network effect. 
  • Work with Product Marketing to align narratives, demos, and talk tracks.
  • Coordinate with Demand Gen on emails, nurtures, paid amplification, and content syndication.
  • Work with other companies for co-marketing moments and events.

Operations and Budget

  • Own budgets, timelines, and runbooks.
  • Ensure data hygiene, attribution, and UTM discipline across all programs.
  • Maintain a scalable toolkit: playbooks, outreach templates, booth kits, and venue lists.

Measurement and Optimization

  • Collect NPS on events 
  • Report on pipeline contribution, SQOs, cost per meeting, velocity, influence, and ROI.
  • Build scorecards and dashboards in Salesforce and Looker.

Success Metrics

  • Attendee satisfaction
  • Net new sign ups from target personas 
  • Net new qualified meetings and SQOs sourced from field programs
  • Pipeline created and influenced, plus closed-won impact
  • Meeting show rate and conversion from invite → attended → follow-up → SQO
  • Event NPS and repeat attendance from target accounts
  • Cost per SQO and ROI by program and by segment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years in field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation with direct sales partnership
  • Proven ownership of live and virtual programs from strategy and budgeting to execution and post-mortem
  • Strong community-building experience and has a track record of leading big events 
  • Comfortable in Salesforce with a track record of converting metrics like pipeline, ROI, and MQLs into action
  • Experience partnering with Community, Creative, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, vendor management, and on-site leadership
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort hosting roundtables or moderating panel
  • Willingness to travel across AMER as needed

Contractor Salary Range
$10,000-$15,000/month
