Integrations Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Integrations Engineer to join our technical team responsible for supporting our lead distribution software and integrating with external partners. The Integrations Engineer will play a key role in ensuring seamless data exchange between our systems and partner platforms, supporting the business-critical lead generation cycle in the home services industry. The ideal candidate has experience working in a PHP-based tech stack, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys solving technical challenges.

Your Day to Day 

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize API integrations between our lead distribution platform and partner systems using PHP and related technologies.
  • Document new API integrations in order to support development into website UI
  • Conduct quality assurance testing of API integrations once completed by the development team
  • Work with team members (and clients, on occasion) to troubleshoot API integration issues before and after launch
  • Identify areas for improvement in the integration processes, and propose innovative solutions to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Perform code reviews, particularly on partner integrations, to ensure adherence to best practices and code quality standards.
  • Partner with mid- and senior-level engineers to learn and implement advanced technical improvements, including custom code auditing.

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in PHP development, with a focus on systems integration.
  • Strong knowledge of API development and integration, including REST and SOAP.
  • Experience with SQL and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with working in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
