Director of Strategy & Operations, Paid Social

Charlotte, NC

Director of Strategy & Operations,  Paid Social

Location:  Charlotte, NC

About the Role

Home Solutions is seeking a Director of Strategy & Operations to help build and scale a rapidly emerging P&L for the company. In this role, you will lead strategy and performance across a portfolio of categories—launching new businesses and scaling existing ones across paid media channels, with an initial focus on Paid Social.

The Director will partner closely with leaders across marketing, analytics, product, and operations to identify opportunities, test hypotheses, and drive results. We are looking for someone who brings equal parts analytical rigor and creative imagination, paired with strong operator instincts — someone who can move fluidly between data and intuition, navigate ambiguity, get into the details, challenge conventional approaches, and turn ideas and insights into action. You will own the customer acquisition funnel end-to-end while building the strategy, systems, and capabilities required to grow. The people who succeed here are at-scale thinkers who are comfortable in the weeds, moving between analytical rigor and creative instinct, and who turn insight into action quickly.

You will also help shape how the team uses technology,  LLMs and automation to improve creative development, campaign operations, analytics, and internal tooling. Ultimately, you will help turn an emerging growth channel into a durable, core growth driver for Home Solutions.

Your Day-to-Day

Build and Scale the Business

  • Own the strategy, economics, and operating performance of an emerging growth P&L, beginning with Paid Social and expanding into additional demand gen channels.
  • Drive measurable growth in revenue, customer acquisition, and marketing efficiency while delivering against the KPIs of our strategic partners.
  • Dig into channel and funnel performance to understand what is actually driving results, then make the call on where to invest and where to pull back.
  • Design the experiments that unlock new growth — new offers, new structures, new approaches — rather than optimizing within the ones we already run.
  • Set the roadmap, balancing near-term performance against the systems and capabilities the business needs 12 months out.

Own the Growth Engine

  • Get hands-on in the acquisition funnel, using our automated systems to develop, launch, and test new ads, audiences, offers, and acquisition approaches at speed.
  • Run rigorous tests across creative, targeting, bidding, measurement, and landing-page conversion, with a clear read on what worked and why.
  • Combine performance data with a deep understanding of the customer to develop new offers, creative concepts, messaging, and video hooks.
  • Stay close to the market, customer, and competitive landscape — and translate what you find into things we ship.

Build the Systems and Team to Scale

  • Build the processes, tooling, and operating frameworks that let a winning strategy scale across partners, categories, and channels.
  • Push our use of AI beyond adoption — we build our own creative pipelines, trait-level ad analysis, and internal tools with dedicated dev resources, and you'll help decide what we build next.
  • Identify where new capabilities, technology, or headcount are needed as the business grows, and make the case for them.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in growth strategy, consulting, business operations, performance marketing, or another high-growth operating environment.
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving and analytical skills; you can break ambiguous problems into their component parts, find the signal in the data, and translate insights into action.
  • A creative and curious thinker who looks beyond the obvious answer, generates new ideas, and is energized by testing different approaches to solve problems and unlock growth.
  • Strong commercial judgment and comfort with P&L thinking, including unit economics, investment tradeoffs, and evaluating expected returns.
  • A builder mentality — excited to move beyond recommendations and own the outcome, getting hands-on in the details to turn ideas into results.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating clarity in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Clear, direct communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and work shoulder-to-shoulder with cross-functional teams.
  • AI-native mindset, actively leveraging emerging tools to increase speed, insight, experimentation, and output.
  • High standards, strong ownership, and a bias toward action.
  • Experience in digital marketplaces, lead generation, performance marketing, or multi-sided platforms is helpful but not required.
  • Familiarity with paid media channels such as Meta, Display, or other emerging acquisition platforms is a plus, but not required.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
