We are committed to providing outstanding training, supervision, and mentorship to future psychologists, with particular emphasis on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging as aspects of anti-racist and culturally responsive care.

The telehealth clinical psychology postdoctoral fellowship is a pioneering program designed to equip emerging psychologists with advanced competencies in delivering evidence-based, culturally responsive, and measurement-based care within a digital health framework. Fellows engage in intensive clinical work, honing their skills in teletherapy and remote assessment while receiving in-depth training on the latest digital tools and methodologies. Training supports psychologists in developing a generalist, adaptable, highly agile therapeutic skillset. Our unique program emphasizes the integration of cultural considerations into treatment plans, ensuring that care is tailored to diverse populations. Fellows also learn to utilize real-time data to inform therapeutic progress and interventions, enhancing the effectiveness and adaptability of care. By focusing on these cutting-edge practices, the fellowship prepares psychologists to navigate the evolving landscape of digital mental health care, making them leaders in the field of telehealth and culturally attuned therapy.

Headspace Training Institute’s postdoctoral fellowship is designed for those who have completed both an APA accredited doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology and an APA accredited predoctoral internship. Further, while employees of Headspace (formerly Ginger) cannot access Headspace products/services, they will be offered benefits according to the company's benefit plan. To ensure we are adhering to best practice and ethical guidelines in the field of mental health, we take care to avoid dual relationships. A dual relationship occurs when a mental health care provider has a second, significantly different relationship with their client in addition to the traditional client-therapist relationship—including, for example, a managerial relationship.

As such, Headspace requests that individuals who have received coaching or clinical services at Headspace wait until their care with Headspace is complete before applying for a position. If someone with a Headspace account is hired for a position, please note their account will be deactivated and they will not be able to use Headspace services for the duration of their employment.

Such steps would be taken to protect both the former member, as well as any relevant individuals from their care team, from impairment, risk of exploitation, or harm.

US Custom Demographic Survey

In our company-wide effort to continue to prioritize diversity and inclusion, we invite candidates to respond to both the EEOC Voluntary Self-Identification survey as well as a custom self-identification survey as a part of the application process. The EEOC survey helps us remain compliant with government reporting requirements (full information and instructions below). We have also created custom self-identification demographic questions to expand upon specific categories, offering more inclusive options that more accurately reflect the diverse global workforce. While this survey is a required section of our application, your level of disclosure is completely voluntary. Participating also includes selecting “I don’t wish to answer” as your choice for any of the categories. This data helps us to better understand how our DEIB efforts are tracking across various measures. Aggregated personal data will be reported on and shared with the necessary stakeholders as needed.  This data will be scrubbed of all possible identifying information, is maintained in a confidential file and will not be considered in the hiring process.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
