Chiavari, Italy

At Hudl, we build great teams. We hire the best of the best to ensure you’re working with people you can constantly learn from. You’re trusted to get your work done your way while testing the limits of what’s possible and what’s next. We work hard to provide a culture where everyone feels supported, and our employees feel it—their votes helped us become one of Newsweek's Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces.

We think of ourselves as the team behind the team, supporting the lifelong impact sports can have: the lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring coaches; and the opportunities to reach new heights. That’s why we help teams from all over the world see their game differently. Our products make it easier for coaches and athletes at any level to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and more.

Ready to join us?

Hudl provides video analysis and data tools for the sports world, supporting coaches, teams, and players in performance, scouting, and game strategies.

Building quality software doesn't just mean writing code that works; it means making sure every feature meets user expectations, sprint after sprint. This is at the heart of Quality Assurance at Hudl: being actively involved throughout the entire development cycle.

You'll work within a development team alongside engineers and product managers, with the support of a dedicated mentor. AI doesn't replace QA: it elevates it. In a context where AI speeds up development, defining what to test, how to test it, and what "quality" means becomes even more strategic.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the dynamics of an agile development team based on the Scrum framework.
  • Learn software risk-analysis methodologies and preventive test strategies.
  • Gain familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) approaches, Gherkin syntax, and design patterns such as Page Object Model.
  • Understand the integration of Generative AI tools (e.g., Claude) into software workflows for test generation, automation, and analysis.

Assigned Activities - Mentored by the supervisor, you will:

  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Retrospective) from requirements definition to release.
  • Collaborate on test strategies for web interfaces (UI) and backend services (APIs).
  • Contribute to writing and maintaining automated tests.
  • Manage and track bugs using company tools, working with developers on resolution.
  • Experiment with AI tools to optimize testing, focusing human effort on high-value tasks.

Inclusion at Hudl

Hudl is an equal opportunity employer. Through our actions, behaviors and attitude, we’ll create an environment where everyone, no matter their differences, feels like they belong.

We offer resources to ensure our employees feel safe bringing their authentic selves to work, including employee resource groups and communities. But we recognize there’s ongoing work to be done, which is why we track our efforts and commitments in annual inclusion reports

We also know imposter syndrome is real and the confidence gap can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates. Please don’t hesitate to apply—we’d love to hear from you.
