We think of ourselves as the team behind the team, supporting the lifelong impact sports can have: the lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring coaches; and the opportunities to reach new heights. That’s why we help teams from all over the world see their game differently. Our products make it easier for coaches and athletes at any level to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and more.

Your Role

We’re looking for an Account Executive II to drive revenue and expand our footprint across basketball in Europe, Africa and Latin America. You’ll be the face of Hudl for federations, leagues and teams - professional, semi-professional and at a grassroots/community level.

In this role, you’ll:
  • Own your territory. You’ll build and execute a Territory Success Plan to surpass aggressive revenue goals. You’ll identify the best Hudl packages for each client, maximizing deal value through effective negotiation and a focus on long-term profitability.
  • Build relationships. You’ll have high-level conversations with head coaches, executives and video coordinators. You’re not just selling a product; you’re setting expectations and providing the resources - like expert chats and tutorials - that help customers succeed.
  • Master the stack. You’ll maintain a precise Salesforce pipeline, forecasting revenue weekly with accuracy. You’ll know your numbers MTD, YTD and annually, ensuring management always has a clear picture of your wins and losses.
  • Thrive on the front lines. You’ll gather market feedback and competitive insights to share with stakeholders across Hudl. Whether it's through "tales from the road" or 1-on-1s, your input will help shape our future product strategy.
For this role, we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our office in Barcelona and can attend the office 3 days a week.

Must-Haves

  • Experienced. You have 3+ years of proven sales experience or 5+ years working in the basketball industry. You can translate complex client needs into complete solutions that help teams win.
  • A skilled negotiator. You’re comfortable with high volume prospecting, objection handling and closing high-value deals. You know how to drive a sale forward while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and payment collection.
  • You're eager to learn. No one knows everything, but you go above and beyond to identify and overcome your shortfalls.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Technical proficiency. Familiarity with Instat, Hudl Sportscode or general video analysis is a plus.
  • Challenger mindset. You’ve been trained in or practiced the Sales Challenger, MEDDIC or other suitable sales methodology.
  • Willingness to hit the road. You’re comfortable with up to 25% travel to visit clients at tournaments, coaching clinics and on-site meetings.

Our Role

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time above any required statutory leave, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
  • Support your wellbeing. Depending on location, we offer medical and retirement benefits for employees—but no matter where you’re located, we have resources like our Employee Assistance Program and employee resource groups to support your mental health.

Compensation

€27.750 - €46.250 EUR

We offer resources to ensure our employees feel safe bringing their authentic selves to work, including employee resource groups and communities. But we recognize there’s ongoing work to be done, which is why we track our efforts and commitments in annual inclusion reports

We also know imposter syndrome is real and the confidence gap can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates. Please don’t hesitate to apply—we’d love to hear from you.
