Location: This position is remote within the United States.

What’s the role?

As a Senior Writer at Huge, you will be responsible for driving the creative output across a range of Storytelling campaigns and digital advertising projects. We expect you to roll up your sleeves, make, do, experiment and tinker, to bring strong, modern, and meaningful copy to your work in concert with an Art Director. You will play a crucial role in developing brand stories, able to understand the problem, know the solution that best meets the challenge, and articulate it to your team mates and clients alike with persuasive skill and clarity.

As a company who practices innovation in all we do, bringing Intelligent Experiences for clients to engage with audiences in new and relevant ways, we are looking for people who utilize and explore all the latest generative AI tools for content creation and acceleration.

Note: This role will have you working in the gaming industry, with gaming experience a plus, at minimum you are an avid gamer and understand the culture of gaming; its communities, its behaviors, its way of inter-relating between game titles, brands and customers.

What will you do?

Drive creative output:

  • Develop campaigns and platforms, specifically delivering exceptional writing vision and storytelling into the work.
  • Ensure the highest standards of copy are met and maintained within these projects, understanding how audiences speak, and speaking with them through your craft in ways that are relatable in culture and communities.
  • Fluency in all the latest AI design tools for creating content and accelerating your ability to get to quality.

Writing expertise:

  • Utilize your strong pedigree in writing to develop thumb-stopping, and meaningful, engaging copy..
  • In addition to developing the writing in your projects, know how to manage the process of making, working with others, and outside production partners in film, photography and illustration.

As a creative:

  • Listen to and critically think how to apply solutions to feedback internally from clients. Always building, never tearing down, you know how to always improve. 
  • Contribute to a collaborative and creative environment, encouraging the growth and development of team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure your solutions connect with strategy, and client success.

 

What do we expect from you?

  • 6 years of experience as a writer with a strong focus on campaigns of all mediums, especially in social and digital channels, paid and earned.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and guidance.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to accurately scope design phases and manage resources effectively.
  • Experience attending pitches and industry events is a plus.
  • A passion for ideas, and storytelling, namely, making work that strives to deliver an impact and foster meaningful connections with the user through your creations.
  • Bachelor's degree in the Creative Writing, Arts or a related field.


What’s a plus?

  • Deep expertise in the gaming or entertainment industry, developing campaign platforms in digital and social.
  • Awareness of current trends and technologies.
  • Experience participating in thought leadership, published articles and other activity in industry, social, and creative podcasts, symposiums and publications, blogs, vlogs, etc.

The salary range for this position is as listed below. Exactly where a prospective employee will be paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, the actual salary ranges for current and former employees who are either currently filling a similar role or did in the past; the candidate’s depth of experience and qualifications; the level of specialization the role requires; budgetary considerations; the market demand for that role and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based. For current Huge employees, tenure will also be a consideration.
