Senior Experience Designer

Location: This position is remote within the United States.

What’s the role?

As a Senior Experience Designer at Huge, you will be at the forefront of developing a world-class digital product from the ground up, driven by a complete brand redesign. Your role goes beyond solving problems—you’ll set new industry standards by shaping a seamless web and app experience that brings the new brand identity to life. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary design team to craft an internationally recognized digital experience. Beyond hands-on design work, you’ll mentor junior and mid-level designers, contribute to creative ideation, and partner with cross-functional teams—copywriters, data, technology, and client services—to ensure exceptional execution throughout the project lifecycle.

What will you do?

  • Design for both web and app products, using responsive best practices.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop concepts that become groundbreaking digital products.

  • Lead by example, producing work that sets the bar for originality and craft.

  • Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive, engaging solutions.

  • Provide strategic insights and help steer the product’s design direction.

  • Prototype, test, and iterate to ensure the experience meets user and business goals.

  • Champion a culture of collaboration, feedback, and continuous learning.

What do we expect from you?

  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative, problem-solving work.

  • Mastery of Figma; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

  • Experience building design systems from scratch.

  • Deep understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and mobile-first thinking.

  • Proven ability to design across the entire user journey, not just single screens.

  • Foundational UX skills: wireframes, flows, journey maps, and research synthesis.

  • Demonstrated experience in product design, responsive design, and design systems across web, mobile web, and apps—work should feel fresh and modern.

  • Ability to draw inspiration from best-in-class examples, interaction patterns, and cultural trends—and articulate how they influence your process.

  • Clear POV on how AI is reshaping design; able to discuss intelligently (hands-on experiments or case studies are a plus).

  • Sharp presentation skills—can explain customer/business value and rationale behind decisions.

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities for guiding and mentoring teams.

  • Healthcare experience is a plus but not required.

This role is currently not available for hire or work in New Mexico, and Hawaii, USA.

The salary range for this position is as listed below. Exactly where a prospective employee will be paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, the actual salary ranges for current and former employees who are either currently filling a similar role or did in the past; the candidate’s depth of experience and qualifications; the level of specialization the role requires; budgetary considerations; the market demand for that role and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based. For current Huge employees, tenure will also be a consideration.
