The Role

Huge is seeking a Senior QA based in Colombia to lead testing efforts and drive strategy improvements for allocated projects. You will ensure software quality through functional, usability, and performance testing while driving automation and cross-browser compatibility. As a mentor and collaborator, you will optimize processes, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Delivery & Operations

  • QA Agile Delivery: Manage and oversee the quality delivery of at least two concurrent projects, championing a "quality-first" mindset within Scrum or Kanban workflows.
  • Execute Technical Testing: Perform rigorous Front-end, API, and Cross-browser testing, ensuring pixel-perfect responsive design and seamless user experience using tools like Figma.
  • Drive CMS Validation: Validate complex content components and workflows within enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore, AEM), ensuring structural and visual integrity.
  • Champion Accessibility & Performance: Conduct deep-dive testing for accessibility compliance (WCAG/ADA) and monitor web performance/SEO metrics using Lighthouse and DevTools.
  • Implement Automation & AI: Maintain and scale E2E and visual automation frameworks (Cypress/Playwright) and leverage AI tools/prompt engineering to innovate testing processes.
  • Strategize & Mentor: Define test strategies (Shift-Left), track QA metrics, and mentor junior QAs to foster a culture of continuous learning and bug prevention.
  • Collaborate Globally: Act as a key communicator across disciplines and time zones, ensuring technical alignment between developers, product owners, and design teams.

What We’d Like to See

QA Delivery

  • At least 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within Agile environments (e.g Scrum or Kanban).
  • Experience running delivery across minimum 2 concurrent projects.
  • Promote a quality-first mindset within Agile teams, ensuring best practices in web, content, and visual testing.
  • Identify gaps in testing strategies, introduce automation where applicable, and optimize workflows.

Technical Skills

  • Strong  understanding of QA principles, shift-left testing,test risks,QA metrics,  bugs prevention  and Quality Engineering best practices in general.
  • Strong  experience of Front end testing,APIs, localization and cross-browser testing.
  • Strong understanding  of web development workflows  using  CMS platforms  like Sitecore,BrightSpot, AEM or similar, including component testing and content validation.
  • Strong  experience  with visual testing and accessibility standards  (e.g WCAG or ADA).
  • Strong  understanding of responsive design and user experience  with tools like Figma.
    Strong understanding of SEO and web performance testing using tools like DevTools and  Lighthouse
  • Good experience with creating and  maintaining automated tests (E2E, Visual) using Javascript with modern frameworks e.g., Cypress , Playwright or similar.
  • Good understanding  of source control, git and release management in general.
  • General understanding of AI concepts, prompt engineering and AI evaluation.
  • Guide junior QAs, provide feedback, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Passion for learning, adoption of  best practices, and driving innovation in QA processes
  • ISTQB certified ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures, time zones, and disciplines.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
