Business Analysis Lead

Colombia

Location: This position is remote within Colombia

Huge | Technology

Huge is looking for a Business Analysis Lead to champion cross-functional analysis and requirements strategy for a high-impact, global website redesign and modern headless replatforming initiative. As the BA Lead, you will serve as the critical bridge between Strategy, Design, and Engineering—driving clarity, quality, and technical consistency to ensure business goals seamlessly align with delivery execution.

In this role, you will lead the charge in translating a vision of 13–15 page templates and 40–50 modular components into a comprehensive, highly structured product backlog with detailed functional specifications and testable user story acceptance criteria. Acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise stakeholders, you will bring strong analytical rigor, structured framework thinking, and confidence operating in ambiguity to shape solution direction and ensure measurable global outcomes.

A successful candidate is an expert in modern decoupled architectures, possesses deep stakeholder management skills, and can independently steer large-scale website launches while mentoring and guiding other analysts on the team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Bridge Strategy & Execution: Partner closely with Strategy, Product, Design, Engineering, and QA teams to define, refine, and translate complex experience designs into technical realities.
  • Architecture Mapping & Componentization: Lead the breakdown of 13–15 page templates and 40–50 modular components into functional specifications, ensuring data structures support a flexible, component-based layout.
  • Headless CMS Readiness: Drive discovery and requirements gathering around content modeling and authoring workflows to prepare for a headless implementation (evaluating/structuring for platforms like Contentstack or Sitecore AI).
  • Backlog Architecture & Jira Ownership: Architect and maintain the Jira ecosystem for the initiative; establish documentation standards, ensure backlog health, end-to-end traceability, and strict alignment with release priorities.
  • Design Intaking & Annotation: Intake and annotate high-fidelity designs, ensuring functional and non-functional requirements accurately reflect intended global system behavior, responsiveness, and state changes. Translate designs into detailed user stories for development and QA.
  • Lead Global Initiatives: Manage discovery for multi-stream, complex digital initiatives—driving clarity on global scope, multi-market localization, integrations, accessibility (WCAG), and technical dependencies.
  • Prioritization & Trade-off Facilitation: Contribute to backlog prioritization using structured frameworks, guiding senior stakeholders through difficult trade-offs, sequencing, and scope management.
  • Team Guidance & Mentorship: Act as the functional lead for the BA track, providing direction, reviewing artifacts, and mentoring other Business Analysts either assigned to the project or as direct report to ensure delivery excellence.
  • Release & Validation Support: Support sprint planning, estimation sizing, and UAT cycles. Validate delivered functionality against acceptance criteria and lead cross-functional issue triage during launch prep.

What We’d Like to See

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of leading requirements for large-scale, enterprise website launches.
  • Headless Architecture Expertise: Hands-on experience delivering modern headless/decoupled websites and working with enterprise Content Management Systems (specific experience with Contentstack or Sitecore AI is a major plus).
  • Component-Based Delivery: Strong experience breaking down complex design systems (templates and modular component libraries) into actionable user stories and testable acceptance criteria.
  • Agency or Consulting Background: Experience navigating complex, matrixed client organizations and multi-stream delivery environments.
  • Deep Non-Functional Rigor: Advanced expertise defining requirements for Accessibility (WCAG), API Integrations, Localization/Multi-language setups, and End-to-End technical data flows.
  • Expert Stakeholder Management: Master-level facilitation skills, with a proven ability to lead workshops, align disparate stakeholders, and manage scope creep.
  • Advanced Agile Tooling: Power-user proficiency in Jira and Confluence, including establishing workflows, epic structuring, and documentation standards.
  • Global Delivery Experience: Comfort leading and collaborating with cross-functional, globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to translate ambiguous strategy into precise, technical execution guidance.

Nice to Have

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience formally leading, mentoring, or managing other Business Analysts on large-scale digital programs.

If the selected candidate holds a degree in Engineering or a related profession, they must present their professional license. To verify your degree requires this license, please visit www.copnia.gov.co and https://www.consejoprofesional.org.co/
