Senior QA
Location: This position is remote within Colombia
Huge is looking for a visionary Senior Quality Analyst who views quality as an art form as much as a science to support cross-functional delivery across high-impact digital initiatives. As a Senior Quality Analyst, you are a strategic generalist, a natural problem solver, and a passionate leader who drives clarity, quality, and technical consistency across complex client ecosystems.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to Product, Design, Engineering, and client teams—owning quality decisions, risk mitigation strategies, and end-to-end execution. You will bring exceptional analytical rigor, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for continuous improvement to shape solution direction and ensure measurable outcomes. From front-end components and CMS architectures to advanced test automation and pioneering the development of AI in QA flows (leveraging skills, Model Context Protocols, and autonomous agents), you will safeguard platform performance and functionality at every layer.
A successful candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, confidence operating in ambiguity, and the ability to simplify complex systems and decisions while mentoring team members and maintaining delivery momentum.
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Strategic Quality Leadership & Ownership: Own project quality decisions, scope, and artifacts. Define quality gates, establish engineering quality best practices, and focus on proactive risk mitigation over simple problem detection.
-
AI-Driven QA Engineering & Innovation: Architect and integrate advanced AI capabilities into daily QA workflows—developing and leveraging AI skills, Model Context Protocols (MCPs), and autonomous testing agents to optimize test execution, generation, and triage.
-
Cross-Functional Execution: Partner closely with Strategy, Product, Design, and Engineering teams to translate complex experience designs and business goals into testable realities.
-
Front-End & Component Validation: Conduct rigorous front-end, cross-browser, and responsive layout testing across breakpoints. Validate component rendering and design system fidelity directly against Figma specifications.
-
CMS & Content Validation: Drive testing strategies tailored to web development workflows using enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore, Brightspot, AEM, or similar), focusing on component behavior and content orchestration.
-
API, Performance & SEO QA: Execute deep API testing, evaluate data flows across decoupled architectures, and audit web performance and SEO using tools like Chrome DevTools and Lighthouse.
-
Accessibility & Localization: Enforce accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and validate multi-market localization setups to ensure inclusive, high-quality digital experiences.
-
Test Automation & Release Management: Maintain and build E2E and visual automated tests using modern JavaScript frameworks (Cypress, Playwright), while managing release workflows in Git.
-
Team Mentorship & Growth: Actively mentor junior, mid-level, and senior QA engineers—fostering a culture of learning, delegation, and continuous improvement across the discipline.
What We’d Like to See
-
4–6+ years of experience as a Quality Analyst or Quality Engineer delivering complex digital initiatives in high-stakes environments.
-
Pioneering AI in QA: Strong understanding and hands-on experience developing AI solutions within QA flows, including hands-on work with AI skills, MCPs (Model Context Protocols), autonomous testing agents, prompt engineering, and AI output evaluation.
-
Modern Test Automation: Solid hands-on experience creating and maintaining E2E and visual automated test suites using JavaScript/TypeScript with frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.
-
Enterprise CMS & Web Ecosystems: Strong understanding of web development workflows on enterprise CMS platforms (Sitecore, Brightspot, AEM, or similar).
-
API & Technical QA: Proven experience in API testing, front-end validation, localization, SEO auditing, and web performance testing (Lighthouse/DevTools).
-
Design Systems & Visual QA: Strong understanding of responsive design and UI testing, mapping coded components directly back to Figma design specs.
-
Accessibility Mastery: Hands-on experience with WCAG and ADA compliance auditing and tools.
-
Shift-Left & Quality Process: Mastery of shift-left testing principles, bug prevention, QA metrics, test risk assessment, Git workflows, and Agile/Lean delivery practices.
-
Leadership & Delegation: Demonstrated ability to manage team performance, scope, and prioritization while mentoring cross-level peers.
-
ISTQB Certification: Holds an active ISTQB certification.
If the selected candidate holds a degree in Engineering or a related profession, they must present their professional license. To verify your degree requires this license, please visit www.copnia.gov.co and https://www.consejoprofesional.org.co/.
