About Product Strategy.

Product teams build things that solve a problem or provide a benefit to a group of users. A Product's role in this is to ensure that what we're building strikes a balance between achieving the user goals, business needs, and feasibility. Product helps define the vision, manages the roadmap and backlog, and drives the delivery of features and activities to fulfill that vision.

The role.

Huge is looking for a Senior Director, Product Strategy to join the Product Strategy team. In this role, you will grow and maintain the Product Management discipline at Huge for one of our most ambitious clients. This involves managing the team, leading the client projects, pitching new work, and being an advocate for Product strategy and delivery best practices.

In this role, you are expected to operate as an influential thought leader with poise and expertise, who collaborates seamlessly with multiple teams and craft leaders from across the organization. You have a proven track record of envisioning and launching innovative digital products—whether within a product-driven technology company or an agency environment—while leading teams, pitching new opportunities, and championing product best practices.

What you’ll be doing.

  • You will lead, develop, and nurture a world-class Product Strategy group for a digital agency environment.
  • You will evangelize and increase Product Management acumen across Huge, drive Product Management best practices on client engagements, and define and manage product roadmaps on multi-phase, multi-track enterprise client engagements.
  • You will collaborate with highly creative user experience experts, visual designers, and engineers to reach the best possible version of products to bring to market.
  • Define and refine working processes in constantly evolving environments.
  • Create frameworks and methodologies to codify best practices.
  • Mentor and manage senior team members.

What we’d like to see.

  • You have 8+ years of formal product management methodology experience refined by substantial practical experience and a proven track record of launching products and innovation.
  • You have experience in iterative improvements of products following launch, with the ability to sell in continuing analysis and improvement cycles based upon data-analysis, user testing, multivariate testing, and ongoing business analysis.
  • You have a strong track record of building and bringing innovative digital products to market from within either (or both) an agency environment, or product-driven company.
  • You have the ability to influence across a diverse organization while leading your team in driving product roadmaps and detailed product requirements across a diverse set of portfolios, clients and product categories.
  • You have a strong collaborative presence and an ability to drive change in organizations, while establishing a shared vision and building consensus on priorities leading to product execution.
  • You have managed product teams of 8+ people.
  • You have experience creating strategic plans and roadmaps, partnering effectively with cross-functional leads.
  • You are a strong leader and are able to mentor and inspire high performing teams.
  • You have an understanding of market trends and strong interest in following emerging technologies, while putting an emphasis on user-driven product design and data-driven product refinement that drive customer and business value.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
  • You have a strong appreciation for design and user experience.
