About the Role
Hungryroot is looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our People Team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring needs, create targeted recruiting strategies, and attract top-tier talent across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Machine Learning roles. You'll own the entire candidate lifecycle—from proactive sourcing and screening through structured interviews, offer negotiation, and reference checks.
Hungryroot has ambitious hiring goals and our recruiting team aims to create a seamless and positive experience for all candidates, hiring managers, and interviewers. We’re looking for an experienced self-starter that requires little direction and can hire best in class talent.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle technical recruiting process - prospecting candidates, hosting preliminary phone screens, scheduling interviews, negotiating offers, etc.
- Focused recruiter for technical roles (product, engineering, data science, etc.) with some support for non-technical roles as needed
- Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand team needs and define ideal candidate profiles
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pipeline of high-caliber candidates
- Build strong candidate relationships and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the hiring process focusing on timely and effective communication
- High attention to detail to follow internal recruiting processes
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics to drive data-informed decisions
- Demonstrated experience embracing AI in your work
Qualifications
- 4+ years of full lifecycle technical recruiting experience
- Must have a proven record of recruiting top talent for Software Engineering, Data Science and Product positions up to the Director Level
- Ability to negotiate and close technical candidate in a competitive market and industry
- Strong relationship building skills with experience partnering with hiring managers at all levels
- Strong sourcing skills and experience with tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse (or similar ATS)
- Familiarity and a demonstrated track record using AI tools

Expected Pay Range
$95,000-$115,000
