Channel Sales Engineer
Reports to: Manager, Technical Account Management
Location: Remote US
Compensation range: $150,000 to $165,000 on target earnings (base and commission), plus equity

What You’ll Do:
The Huntress team is looking for a highly motivated and collaborative Channel Sales Engineer with excellent presentation skills and the ability to build strong relationships with our channel partners. This role will be the primary technical liaison for our resellers. The Channel Sales Engineer is responsible for ensuring that resellers have the pre-sales resources to educate their teams and clients about the Huntress platform. This position will provide high-quality technical sales support with a consultative approach. You will help our resellers maximize their effectiveness in selling the Huntress Managed Security Platform and will even facilitate our channel partners with their sales motions to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, understanding their business models and collaborating to achieve sales targets
- Technical Sales Support: Help channel partners develop sales strategies and close deals. This may involve joint sales calls, customer presentations, and proposal development.
- Channel Sales Growth: Identify opportunities where Huntress can expand in accounts.
- Training/Onboarding: Conduct training sessions to educate channel partners on product features, benefits, and sales techniques, enabling them to sell and communicate the value of the Huntress Platform effectively
- Technical Advocacy: Advocate for resellers' needs within the Huntress organization, acting as a link between them and our product team by relaying feedback for product improvements
- Product Research: Participate in surveys/research on new capabilities and product offerings to document and assist our teams in building products that fit the needs of our channel partners
- Elevated Tech Support: Work with product and engineering to escalate and resolve complex technical issues beyond the scope of standard support. Monitor support interactions, serve as an internal advocate for channel partners, and proactively escalate issues as needed.
- Field Marketing Technical Resource: Work with the Huntress Marketing Team on projects such as roadshows and channel partner events
- Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Spot opportunities for improvement in a fast-moving environment
- Comfortable traveling up to 33% of the time and meeting face-to-face with customers
- Comfortable presenting in front of groups
What You Bring To The Team:
- 4+ years of experience working in technical channel enablement, sales engineering, pre-sales, or similar work
- Experience with Channel Sales program development
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including C-level executives
- Effective time management and organizational skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages
- Familiarity with IT administration tools such as deployment software and ticketing
- Familiarity with SIEM tools like Elastic, Splunk, etc.
