Paralegal - Contract Manager

OPPORTUNITY
The essential purpose of this position is to support the Legal Department to be primarily responsible for the organization’s contract management needs which includes serving as the key point of contact between internal and external customers to provide contract drafting, negotiation, and management related responsibilities in the pursuit of 100% customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft, examine, negotiate and revise agreements between Hydrite and outside parties ensuring Hydrite’s best long-term interests. Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.
- Resolve complex customer and contract problems and issues.
- Participate in the business development and sales process by providing expert guidance and knowledge.
- Create, foster, and maintain working relationships with internal customers and external customers including commercial decision makers, controllers, and executives.
- Serve as primary point of contact for matters concerning contracts.
- Manage the DocuSign CLM program within the organization.
- Implement and manage use of AI tools within the Legal Department.
- Maintain records within DocuSign CLM and guidance for how to properly store correspondence and documentation in relation to works in progress.
- Communicate and present information to management or stakeholders in the contract process.
- Advise and provide strategy for contract process based on experience and with the understanding of Hydrite’s goals and industry experience.
- Solve contract-related problems that may arise through the contract process or after execution of contracts.
- Lead contract management efforts including the development and maintenance of a contract renewal system in the DocuSign CLM program for contractual agreements.
- Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to General Counsel.
- Work with the Risk Manager as requested in the strategic management of company risk programs.
- Provides guidance and provides training to contract owners so DocuSign users within the organization understand how to incorporate all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into the final contract.
- Supports Hydrite leadership by working on special projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Conduct business and legal research as requested.
- Create and maintain litigation files and provide other litigation support as needed.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
- This position reports to the General Counsel
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of legal experience in commercial contracts required.
- Perform all duties in a confidential and timely manner.
- Possess excellent analytical, written, and organizational skills. Detail oriented.
- Possess leadership skills, analytical thinking and good judgement.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of DocuSign, Word, and Excel required.
- Regular attendance is essential.
- Timely completion of tasks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit up to four hours at a time.
- Ability to work on a computer up to four hours at a time.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on occasion.
