About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire an Annuities Sales Analyst or Associate to join the iCapital Solutions department. This role will support the Annuities team assisting with the management, development, and maintenance of the Annuities platform for our clients. iCapital Solutions develops and manages the technology platform experience for many of iCapital’s largest clients throughout the United States. This individual will be responsible for supporting senior members of the team in maintaining the daily operations of the Annuities platform and in developing and executing our company’s strategy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a main contact point for our annuity clients, managing relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
- Lead and conduct training for internal and external partners, ensuring they are well-versed in the platform's features and capabilities.
- Support the development and execution of the company’s overarching strategy aimed at supporting the Annuities business line.
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and distribution of data to carrier and distributor partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all information.
- Support the development of new and existing relationships with distribution partners to advance the product category for the company.
- Manage clients’ expectations by troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to the platform.
- Take ownership of projects, providing strong analytical support to teammates and ensuring successful execution of tasks.
- Aggregate, maintain, and analyze large data sets to drive informed decision-making.
- Develop presentations with significant data and analysis for internal and external meetings and projects.
- Work alongside the sales and finance team to develop meaningful measurements of success for the Annuities platform.
- Partner with the Compliance team to ensure all regulatory requirements are met as we onboard new clients.
- Drive process improvements, in part by leveraging teams, technology, and automating data-related workflows.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure the platform operates efficiently and meets the needs of clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 1+ years of relevant experience in trading, business development, or relationship management in the financial market industry or internship within a relevant field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to successfully operate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills are essential, as the success of this position requires continual interaction with internal teams as well as clients
- Strategic mindset and able to work independently
- Demonstrated client service skills with stakeholders and clients
- Excellent organizational skills
- Desire to work in a cross-functional and collaborative environment
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Series 7, 63 certifications are preferred; or otherwise attained within 120 days of hire
- Knowledge of financial products, and annuities, is preferred
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to independently solve problems
- Proactive team player with a positive attitude, willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and get the job done, and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
- Microsoft office skills are required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
