Project Coordinator- Localization
Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations of the Global Localization Team, with a focus on cross-functional coordination, vendor communication, translation project oversight, and operational documentation. This role is critical in ensuring timely delivery and quality execution of marketing, web, and product content across multiple languages and platforms.
Job Expectations:
Vendor (LSP) Support & Communication
- Serve as a primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external LSPs.
- Manage daily operations such as email/chat communications, translation requests, and follow-ups.
- Oversee ad-hoc and scheduled fast track requests.
- Support in platform and vendor transitions (e.g., Vu migration).
Dev Team Communication
- Coordinate and escalate technical issues related to localization with the Development team.
- Track and support bug resolution for translation delivery platforms and content systems.
Customer Experience (CX) Support
- Manage and process translation requests from the CX team, including knowledge base articles, macros, and customer-facing emails.
- Ensure timely delivery of urgent translation requests.
Cross-Department Translation Requests
- Manage translation requests from departments such as Marketing, Product, and IT.
- Ensure timely intake and delivery across all language teams.
Web Content Coordination
- Monitor and approve re-deliveries and untranslated content within the CMS.
- Track outstanding keys and ensure translation follow-ups.
Context & Source Issue Resolution
- Investigate and address source text and context gaps in coordination with stakeholders and LSPs.
- Document and escalate recurring content quality issues.
Documentation & Workflow Management
- Maintain internal documentation of workflows, tools, and processes (e.g., Maestro, Fasttracks).
- Assist in standardizing SOPs for localization operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with localization tools and platforms (e.g., TMS, CMS, Maestro, Phrase).
- Highly organized and proactive with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and handling multiple priorities.
- Experience working with international vendors or LSPs is a plus.
Equipment Knowledge:
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
Experience Requirements:
Generally requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience in localization, project coordination, or vendor management.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Localization, Linguistics, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience in project coordination, localization, or language services will also be considered.

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

$54,063 - $115,850 USD
