Be a part of this exciting organization and improve the lives of people doing mission-critical work.

Why join our team?

We strive to provide the best customer experience in the industry and have succeeded with a single, strong motivating principle: We serve our user community.

Our success and growth are directly attributed to our people. Illumia is dedicated to fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and continuous personal development. We maintain an entrepreneurial spirit, where creativity, innovative problem-solving, and learning agility drive our day-to-day actions.

What you will be doing:

As Director of Healthcare Services at Illumia, you will lead a team of implementation managers, project managers, and implementation consultants delivering Illumia’s healthcare solutions—including NetMenu, our cloud-based clinical nutrition and patient dining platform, and Quickcharge, our healthcare point of sale system. You will set the overall strategy for how your team plans, staffs, and executes implementations across hospital and health system clients, ensuring Illumia has the trained, high-quality resources needed to deliver safe, compliant, and operationally impactful outcomes. You will also serve as a mentor, escalation point, and client-facing leader for strategic accounts.

  • Lead and develop a set of managers running multi-disciplinary teams of project managers, implementation consultants, and technical staff across healthcare product lines
  • Set team strategy for project planning, staffing, and resource allocation across concurrent NetMenu and Quickcharge engagements
  • Ensure the team delivers professional services to healthcare clients, meeting established goals for utilization, revenue, and customer satisfaction
  • Guide implementation teams through the complexity of clinical environments, including EHR integrations (e.g., Epic/HL7), diet order workflows, and healthcare payment systems
  • Serve as a mentor and escalation point internally and externally; step into a client-facing role for strategic accounts to ensure satisfaction
  • Partner with Sales, Solution Engineering, and Client Management to ensure successful sales and implementations, where expectations are properly set around delivery timelines, scope, and readiness
  • Establish and manage third-party partnerships to supplement core staff during peak periods
  • Drive process improvement and efficiency gains across the team’s delivery model, with particular attention to the regulatory and patient safety demands of healthcare environments

Who you will work with:

  • External customers (businesses, hospitals, health systems, and acute care facilities)
  • Internal partners including Sales, Client Management, Product Management, Database Services, Integration Services, Support, and Managed Services
  • Company leadership team members such as general managers and executive leadership

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of management experience, including management of managers
  • 10+ years of proven experience in program or project management, leading clients and teams through large, complex system implementations and integrations
  • Strong background in enterprise SaaS implementations; experience with healthcare IT, clinical nutrition systems, foodservice technology, or healthcare payment solutions strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare clinical workflows, including EHR integrations (Epic, HL7), diet order management, and patient safety requirements
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and managing third-party partnerships to supplement core teams
  • Strong client relationship skills—ability to partner with clinical, IT, and operational leaders from healthcare organizations to manage issues, risks, dependencies, and scope/schedule conversations
  • Proven record of process improvement and efficiency gains in complex, regulated, fast-paced environments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong presentation and analytical abilities
  • Confident, polished communicator—comfortable presenting to executive stakeholders, clinical leadership, and large groups
  • Strong consensus-building skills across directly managed teams and partner organizations including Sales, Product Management, and Development
  • Detail-oriented, client-focused, and able to create plans, set goals, and execute proactively
  • Strong general computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and web applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with both SaaS and hardware/POS implementations in healthcare settings
  • Experience with clinical nutrition management systems, patient dining technology, or healthcare foodservice operations
  • Experience with healthcare commerce and payment platforms (POS, cashless payments, workforce dining)
  • Experience managing budgetary responsibilities and project scope
  • Experience with third-party partners and contract labor
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential or clinical nutrition background is a plus

Our leaders are Humble, Hungry, and Smart:

  • Humble: The right leaders for Illumia don’t need to own the spotlight—they share credit, define success collectively, and are quick to elevate the contributions of others. This is a company that still writes its story. The leaders who thrive here find energy in building something together, not in being recognized as the smartest person in the room.
  • Hungry: We are not looking for caretakers. We are looking for leaders who are restless about what’s possible, self-motivated to close the gap between where we are today and where we need to be, and who are already thinking about the next opportunity before anyone asks.
  • Smart: At Illumia, our leaders must operate across a complex, distributed organization spanning multiple product lines, two legacy cultures, and thousands of customers with competing priorities. Technical skills matter, but the ability to read a room, build trust across functions, and bring people along is what separates a great leader from one who burns the organization out.

This position is classified as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state wage-and-hour laws.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.

What you get when you join our team:

  • Flexible time off to include paid holidays and volunteer time
  • Robust health, dental, and vision insurance plans on your first day of employment
  • Employer-paid life insurance/AD&D/short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • Comprehensive employee assistance program (EAP)
  • Flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA)
  • Matched 401(k)
  • Employee stock purchase plan

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
