
Associate Chief Medical Officer

What You’ll Do
As an Associate Chief Medical Officer of Imagine Pediatrics, you will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer. You will partner with market, regional and centralized leaders to oversee our digitally integrated and in-home care model to children with special healthcare needs. You will be responsible for leading our provider teams in our markets and regions and setting the standards of clinical quality, safety, and patient and provider satisfaction. In addition you will:
Clinical Leadership & Quality Oversight
- Oversee the quality and safety of all clinical care provided by physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, therapists, care team assistants, and other clinical staff across both virtual and on the ground staff
- Implement Imagine Pediatrics’ clinical protocols, standards of care, and evidence-clinical programming specific to our pediatric population with special healthcare needs
- Review quality dashboards with medical directors and partner with quality and safety team members to improve metrics and outcomes while meeting safety standards
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal Medicaid regulations, payor requirements, and credentialing standards
Team Management & Provider Engagement
- Support and oversee clinical recruitment, onboarding, development, and mentoring.
- Responsible for ensuring the clinical workforce is meeting/exceeding performance expectations and delivering on the clinical programming set forth by the CoE.
- Serve as a feedback loop to CoE for program refinement/optimization
- Develop and nurture internal clinical team members who are skilled in critical thinking, effective team collaboration, and conflict resolution to ensure our values are upheld and lived every day.

- Lead other people leaders, including medical directors and other market leadership by always embodying the Imagine Pediatrics values and championing a culture of collaborative care
- Enable clinical staff to master data-driven tools and practices to provide holistic, whole person care to both patients and their care givers
- Educate teams and promote a value-based, community driven care approach across all touchpoints with internal and external providers and stakeholders
Strategic & Operational Support
- Support organizational-wide initiatives that impact the care model including: medical management, utilization management, clinical compliance and policy development
- Capture and synthesize data from the market to improve the use of virtual care platforms, creating a strong feedback loop between the market and CoE around clinical product development, data and other shared service teams.
- Support Market Medical Directors in market as needed to support regional growth initiatives, partnerships, and other Imagine Pediatrics community initiatives with external partners.
- Externally facing:
- Regular presenter and attendee to our client facing Joint Operating Committee meetings and other sessions.
- Plan, present, and support our business development goals with our executive team
What You Bring & How You Qualify
First and foremost, you’re passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric health care and creating a world where every child with special healthcare needs gets the care and support they deserve.
- MD/ DO, from an Accredited Program.
- Board certified in Pediatrics AND/OR Internal Medicine-Pediatrics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in outpatient practice.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a physician management role or role as medical director, managing other medical directors and clinical teams.
- Currently holds or able to obtain multistate licensure in states we are/will be operating in.
