
Commercial Accounting Senior Manager

Position Overview
Immunome is seeking a Commercial Accounting Senior Manager to support commercial accounting operations as the Company prepares for its first product launch, while also contributing broadly across general ledger accounting. This role will be a key hands-on contributor responsible for execution, analysis, and documentation, working closely with the Controller, Director, SEC Reporting and Compliance and other commercial, supply chain and finance leaders.
The position is well suited for a technically strong accountant who enjoys operating in a lean, fast-growing environment.
Responsibilities
Commercial Accounting & Revenue Support
- Support the implementation and ongoing application of ASC 606 revenue recognition policies and procedures for product sales.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of gross-to-net reserve models, including chargebacks, rebates, returns, and government programs, as applicable.
- Perform accounting and reconciliations related to the outsourced order-to-cash process, including revenue cut-off, billing, cash application, and variance analysis.
- Prepare technical accounting memos, accounting policies, and process documentation to support audits and SOX controls.
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Market Access, Supply Chain, FP&A, and IT to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
- Provide accounting support for new commercial initiatives, pricing changes, and distribution arrangements under established guidance.
Inventory & Cost of Goods Sold
- Perform accounting for commercial and clinical inventory and COGS, including inventory roll-forwards, manufacturing accruals, and variance analysis.
- Support inventory costing, overhead allocations, reserves, and obsolescence analyses.
- Assist with reconciliation of inventory data between ERP systems, 3PL reports, and the general ledger.
- Participate in the design, execution, and documentation of SOX controls related to inventory and COGS.
- Support ERP and 3PL system implementations and enhancements from an accounting and controls perspective.
General Accounting
- Perform and review monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysis.
- Support preparation of SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, earnings materials), including footnotes, roll-forwards, and supporting schedules.
- Assist with SOX 404 documentation, walkthroughs, and control testing.
- Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, providing schedules, explanations, and audit support under the direction of accounting leadership.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- A minimum of 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a public company environment.
- Strong background in general ledger accounting and SEC reporting.
- Working knowledge of ASC 606, inventory accounting, and COGS.
- Experience supporting SOX controls and external audits.
- Life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience working with outsourced partners (e.g., 3PLs, CMOs) a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a hands-on, execution-focused role.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience supporting a first or early commercial product launch.
- Experience in a lean or high-growth public company environment.
Washington State Pay Range
$171,910 - $185,669 USD
