About the Role:

As a Real Estate Analyst, you will help execute Industrious’ global network expansion strategy. This role will focus heavily on supporting underwriting, financial modeling, proposal preparation, and execution of complex real estate transactions for the company—a critical function because our business relies on physical assets. You will report to the European Real Estate Growth Lead. The ideal candidate will be based out of London (but other European cities will be considered).

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team in the early stages of its expansion in an entrepreneurial, high-visibility role with significant growth potential. The successful candidate has transaction management experience, commercial real estate knowledge, solid communication and analytical skills, and a strong work ethic.

You will love this role if:

  • You are excited by joining a rapidly growing startup
  • You love supporting a team of deal-makers in executing complex real estate transactions
  • You like following and building processes
  • You are meticulous and highly-organised

This role isn't for you if:

  • You don’t have an analytical mind and dislike using excel or other data management platforms
  • You want to be sourcing deals immediately
  • You don’t thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

As a Real Estate Analyst, you will:

  • Support the Head of Europe, RE Growth Lead, and Sr. Director of Real Estate in analysing, underwriting, and executing key real estate transactions including leases and management contracts across the entirety of Europe
  • Advance deal flow by working with landlords, agents, solicitors, and other stakeholders to drive the deal negotiation and decision-making process
  • Lead underwriting and support proposal creation for external stakeholders
  • Transition completed transactions and onboard internal teams across the company to ensure efficient handover of market analysis, deal information, documents, etc.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to advance site selection, design and construction planning, Investment Committee approval, negotiation, and internal deal onboarding
  • Support preparation of recommendations to the Investment Committee with supporting material and qualitative data
  • Develop tools and new systems that support the Real Estate group and help scale growth

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate (asset management, acquisitions, or development) or a related industry field (investment banking, investment management, finance etc.)
  • Strong financial modeling, underwriting, and other analytical skills
  • Ability to think outside the box and beyond the traditional real estate investment mindset
  • Ability to build strong networks and relationships
  • Excellent judgment with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to prioritise and take ownership in a fast-paced work environment
  • Very strong project management skills; can execute and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
  • High hustle quotient: willing to get your hands dirty as necessary to move fast and get things done
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time as Industrious opens locations across the region
