About the Role:
This role will support the purchasing needs of Industrious, assisting with procurement and sourcing tasks, vendor management, and contributing towards the company’s financial and growth goals. Reporting into the Senior Procurement Manager, you will work with multiple departments across the company to manage purchasing, ensure timely delivery and successful installation of product, and provide spend analysis. This is a hybrid role that requires in office work a few days a week in either our Chicago or New York City Industrious locations. Candidates must live within an easy commute of either New York City or Chicago.
Responsibilities:
- Execute purchases in a timely manner, working with key internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with the technical day-to-day activities of the Procurement team. This includes ensuring the smooth flow of internal processes such as:
- SKU setup and maintenance of inventory management system
- Order management and distribution
- Inventory movement tracking
- Logistics coordination
- Provide internal daily and/or weekly updates regarding project order status
- Assist in the managing of key vendors to ensure they are meeting contractual requirements and that their performance is meeting expectations.
- Work with AP systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of all fulfillment related invoices.
- Utilize existing platforms and systems to track and review warehouse inventory and restock goods as needed.
- Assist with the RFP process on key projects
- Responsible for maintenance of company’s fulfillment processes
Requirements:
- 2+ years in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, operations or equivalent experience, focus on supply chain or procurement strongly preferred
- Capable of building processes and reports from scratch to identify opportunities and risks
- Strong interpersonal skills, a team focus, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently, and proactively develop solutions
- Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel or Google Sheets preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
The annual base compensation range for this role will be between $80,000 and $90,000 + 10% annual bonus potential. The successful candidate's actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job related knowledge, skills and professional qualifications.
