Divisional Manager

We are looking for a strategic Divisional Manager to actively manage our portfolio of fast-growing home brands that sell primarily on Amazon. This is both a hands-on and leadership role responsible for a team of Brand Analyst(s) and Marketplace Operations Specialist(s) in the development and execution of merchandising, pricing, promotion, and other marketing strategies. The Divisional Manager owns a P&L (profit and loss statement) related to their portfolio and is ultimately a business leader accountable for the results achieved by their team. This is fast-paced, high visible, role within the organization reporting to the Vice President for Core Marketplaces (i.e., Amazon).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of brands that generates over $50M+ in revenue
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales & marketing strategy by brand, focused around pricing, promotions, and listing optimization
- P&L Ownership: Set and measure yourself against brand-level sales and contribution margin goals and provide regular monitoring of brand performance
- Brand Stewardship: Work cross-functionally alongside the integration team and growth team to understand core competencies of new businesses and take thoughtful ownership of new brands
- Player/Coach: Oversee a team of 2-3 individuals globally, while individually contributing
- Guide your portfolio by setting priorities and develop strategies to identify and fix low margin and low growth products
- Create business plans outlining all strategic opportunities within your category portfolio, associated costs, timelines, and resources required to achieve a successful outcome.
- Manage with Supply Chain escalations to the Supply Chain team to ensure products are always in stock with premium quality
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of retail and/or e-commerce experience managing a portfolio of products
- Experience owning a P&L, driving revenue and EBITDA growth and using data and analytics to support business decisions
- Ability to work cross functionally on various strategic initiatives and projects by communication amongst teams to maximize efficiency
- Superb time management skills - can meet deadlines and manage multiple initiatives despite daily "fire drills" and changing priorities
- Demonstrated experience streamlining business processes and identifying creative solutions
- 5+ years of Merchandising experience driving product strategy and/development
Nice to Have:
- Solid Amazon FBA experience or knowledge is highly preferred.
- Experience developing products that resonate with a target customer base
COMPENSATION:
The applicable range for this position in most US metro markets is USD $116,480 to USD $186,368. The anticipated hiring range for this position is USD $116,480 to USD $151,429. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in an annual incentive program as a percentage of base salary, inclusion in our health and welfare benefit programs, and time off programs (vacation, sick, and floating holidays) among other benefits. The compensation and benefits provided for this role are subject to change and may be adjusted due to local market conditions based on the final work location of the incumbent.
