No coding experience is required. Just design, publish, measure and monetize.

The role
Infinite Reality is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our QA team. This is a remote position within the continental US, and you'll report directly to Larry Wells, Director of QA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through test design, test planning, and blackbox test execution. You’ll play a role in the software development life cycle, contributing to the creation of robust, scalable, and defect-free applications. You’ll be working on metaverse solutions with cross-platform applications.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with teams to analyze requirements and design test cases that cover functional and non-functional aspects of the software.
- Plan and execute regression testing cycles to validate software changes and enhancements while ensuring the stability of existing functionality.
- Utilize blackbox testing methodologies to validate the functionality, usability, and compatibility of software applications.
- Generate bug reports with detailed steps to reproduce, logs, and relevant information for resolution.
- Ensure test coverage by designing and implementing automated test scenarios that validate functionality, performance, and UX flow.
- Conduct test analysis to monitor test effectiveness, gaps, and improvement areas to enhance future coverage and minimize risk.
- Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot software defects by employing debugging techniques and tools.
- Contribute to the development of QA practices and methodologies.
- Analyze gaps for automated testing and write scripts for manual test cases.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, QA Analyst, or similar role.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and practices.
- Experience in cross-platform software testing including Web, Mobile, and Standalone desktop applications.
- Familiarity with automated testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with unit test frameworks such as NUnit, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication and collaboration abilities.
- Technical documentation skills to create, audit, and review detailed test artifacts.
We’ll be extra pumped if you have
- ISTQB Foundation or Higher Certification.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud solutions.
- Experience with game engines such as Unity, Unreal, or Godot.
- Experience with Postman, RestAssured, or Swagger.
- Experience working with or using Metaverse solutions.
Salary Range
$75,000 - $90,000 USD
Base pay will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, certifications, experience, market demands, and locations.
