About InfoTrust
InfoTrust is a global, privately-owned consulting and solutions agency dedicated to unlocking the power of data to drive marketing performance and business growth. We specialize in digital analytics, media enablement, and privacy-centric solutions that help the world’s largest brands optimize their marketing strategies. Our culture is built on passion, ownership, diversity, trust, respect, and continuous growth—values that have earned us multiple "best places to work" awards, including a Great Place to Work certification and recognition as the #1 place to work in Ohio.
About this Role
This role is both classic and transformative. As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will own the entire finance function—from accounting and controls to strategic planning, capital allocation, and automation. You’ll work directly with the CEO and Executive Team to build a high-performance financial system that fuels growth and supports our evolution from a services-led organization to a product-driven, AI-enabled growth engine.
Your mission is to build a world-class financial foundation that combines governance and growth discipline (targeting $EBIT > 20\%$) with SaaS scalability and automation, preparing InfoTrust for its next stage of scale and optionality.
Responsibilities:
-
Strategic Leadership & Growth: Lead the company’s financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, aligning financial goals with revenue, product, and delivery outcomes. Partner with the CEO to refine and operationalize a 3-year financial model connecting SaaS ARR, productized solutions, and reseller revenue.
-
Accounting, Compliance & Financial Operations: Lead all GAAP accounting, tax, insurance, and audit processes with precision. Implement a scalable controller function (closing books by the 5th business day) and robust financial governance.
-
AI, Automation & Financial Systems: Partner with IT and operations to modernize financial systems, integrating platforms (Salesforce, QuickBooks, etc.) and dashboards. Assess automation ROI and champion initiatives that drive 80/20 impact.
-
SaaS & Revenue Enablement: Own the company’s SaaS financial metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC payback, churn, LTV). Partner with Revenue Operations to optimize go-to-market investments, forecast ARR growth, and create scalable pricing and commission structures.
-
Leadership & Culture: Lead and mentor a finance team that thrives on automation, accuracy, and insight. Partner with HR to evolve compensation and incentive frameworks aligned with long-term value creation.
-
Philanthropy & Global Stewardship: Lead all financial operations for the InfoTrust Foundation (501(c)(3)) and partner with HR and PEOs to ensure smooth, compliant international operations.
Your Success in the First 12–18 Months:
-
The controller function is fully operational and audit-ready.
-
The monthly close is completed by day 5, with maximum automation.
-
$EBIT > 20\%$ is achieved, driven by efficiency and automation.
-
SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, NRR, churn) are reported accurately and used for daily decision-making.
-
Finance and revenue forecasts are aligned and trusted by leadership.
You could be a great fit if:
-
You are a strategic and operational hybrid—you can see the future and build the machine that powers it.
-
You are an expert in FP&A, GAAP, and cash flow management.
-
You are SaaS fluent, with a deep understanding of recurring revenue models, marketing efficiency, and customer economics (CAC, LTV).
-
You are a partner to growth leaders, comfortable analyzing sales funnels and go-to-market investments.
-
You are automation curious and energized by how AI can make finance faster, smarter, and more predictive.
-
You are a proven coach and builder who develops both people and systems.
-
You have 10+ years in finance leadership, ideally in a SaaS or services-to-SaaS transformation ($20M–$100M range).
-
You have a proven track record of implementing ERP or automation platforms to scale a finance function.
-
You possess excellent communication skills, analytical rigor, and strong executive presence.
-
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Bonus:
-
You have an MBA or CPA.
-
You have a complete understanding of the finance requirements specific to the media business (Google Marketing Platform knowledge is a major plus), including multi-currency exchange and working capital management.
Logistics:
-
Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
-
We offer flexible work options to suit your preferences and lifestyle. You can choose to work from our offices located in Chicago or Cincinnati, or opt for a hybrid model.
