About the role:
As the Technical Program Associate for Engineering at INGENIOUS.BUILD you will get the unique experience of being the go-to professional for Engineering. You will work directly with the VP of Engineering and Product on process improvement, educating the teams on new and existing processes, and work cross-functionally with the organization to ensure effective communication.
In this position you will be responsible for managing multiple process-related projects for the Engineering department, providing assistance and support with devices, hardware, and software issues, and coordinating and working through various administrative tasks that the VP of Engineering and Product gives you.
We are looking for a problem solver who can be a powerhouse of problem-solving and efficiency.
In this position, you will:
- Support the project management of cross-functional products to ensure on-time delivery.
- Design measurements to track impact and drive internal process improvements.
- Identify dependencies and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ongoing communication of planning, project status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders.
- Support and share best practices regarding delivery team Scrum processes
- Lead the efforts in creating and managing multiple Jira and Scrum projects for process optimization.
- Observe teams to identify opportunities in defining project scope, requirements and delivery.
- Support day-to-day administrative operations as assigned by the VP of Product and Engineering.
- Act as a liaison between cross functional teams to ensure effective communication of priorities on various projects and tasks.
- Have a data driven approach to running Jira reports for effective collaboration within teams and the leadership.
- Identify areas of process improvement for general developer delivery and future collaboration.
- Act as a partner for training and educating teams on new and existing processes, assist them in following processes through detailed documentation and open communication.
- Work closely with the VP of Engineering to implement new technologies and solutions.
Skills and Experience needed:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in IT support or related roles in a startup or Saas company.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, Ubuntu), and network protocols.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
