Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our Commercial Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in consolidating and analysing employee costs, managing data integrity across payroll, financial, and HR systems, and controlling employee master data. This role requires a strong understanding of financial analysis, data management, and reporting, with a focus on leveraging Power BI for insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Cost Analysis

  • Consolidate and analyse group employee costs using Power BI to provide actionable insights for senior management.
  • Build and manage employee cost reports and dashboards that align with business objectives.

2. Data Integrity Management

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across payroll, financial, and HR systems.
  • Conduct regular audits and validations to maintain high data quality standards.

3. Employee Master Data Control

  • Manage and control employee master data to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to address data discrepancies and maintain data governance.

4. Reporting & KPIs

  • Report employee-related data KPIs in the monthly management reporting process.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports that provide insights into employee costs, trends, and forecasts.
  • Utilize Power BI to automate and streamline reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports.

5. Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with HR, payroll, and finance teams to ensure alignment on data reporting and analysis.
  • Present financial insights and analysis to stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide training and support to team members on Power BI and data management best practices.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst with a focus on employee cost analysis and data management.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, particularly in financial and employee data reporting.
  • Experience with payroll and HR systems, as well as financial reporting tools.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, report development, and dashboard creation.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for querying financial and employee data.
  • Familiarity with payroll and HR systems such as SAP, Workday, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in managing and analysing large data sets, with a focus on employee data.
  • Knowledge of Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, macros).

Analytical Skills

  • Strong financial analysis and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights from complex data sets.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations.
