The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned transfer pricing professional and subject matter expert to join the Group Tax function of a growing global healthcare services provider in the Pharmaceutical industry.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Tax, the Group Transfer Pricing Director is a key member of our Group Tax function. You will have responsibility for the group’s transfer pricing strategy and its implementation globally and partnering with business leaders to navigate tax complexities and support Inizio’s goals.
This permanent full-time role is based in our Citywest, Dublin head office in Ireland. We are offering a hybrid-working arrangement, which we hope supports a healthy work-life balance by creating more flexibility to meet work and personal commitments.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain robust transfer pricing policies according to global regulatory standards and the group’s commercial strategy.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management regarding transfer pricing planning opportunities.
- Support the group’s financial reporting processes for interim and year-end tax provisioning purposes, including forecasting transfer pricing models, effective tax rate management, and ensuring the group’s transfer pricing policies are reflected in reporting. Partnering with finance teams and external auditors on transfer pricing related matters.
- Lead global transfer pricing compliance, including documentation, notifications, and filings.
- Support process improvements within the tax team; improve group transfer pricing policies, procedures and operations.
- Maintain excellent relationships across our finance teams and external advisors and partner with our businesses and executive team to provide commercially focused tax advice.
- Keep up to date on global transfer pricing developments and their impact on the Group, including OECD and country specific developments, ensuring possible effects of changes are addressed.
- Lead and mentor a small team, providing guidance, support and developing them to their fullest potential
What do you bring to the Role?
- 10+ years’ experience working in a multinational corporate tax environment
- Experience with tax transfer pricing in a MNE environment and exposure to overseas taxes
- Technical knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing laws, regulations, rulings and pronouncements
- Exudes a positive and winning attitude, with ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders, including executive level
- Proactive self-starter, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines, deal with ambiguity and balance competing priorities.
