What you'll do:
As a Campus Talent Acquisition Intern, your key area of responsibility will be supporting and driving Geotab’s Human Resources department. Understanding the various business requirements is key to assist our departments with growth and development. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, motivated, and a dependable team player. To be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion with regard to all matters.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a motivated individual with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will design robust and scalable software solutions while being able to manage multiple projects and priorities to ensure timely results.
The opportunity
- 8 - 12 month work-term beginning September 2025.
- Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week.

How you'll make an impact
- Oversee all aspects of a full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening candidates, conducting interviews, extending offers & facilitating onboarding.
- Assist in preparing and posting job descriptions to attract potential candidates.
- Perform resume screening through our ATS (Greenhouse) to assess candidate quality, skills, and fit for open roles.
- Maintain a pool of candidates, ensuring candidate records and activity are current, and provide weekly updates to the Talent Team Lead.
- Conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate candidates' interest, cultural fit, technical abilities, and salary expectations.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs, job descriptions for open roles, and provide guidance throughout the hiring process to align with departmental goals and requirements.
- Conduct research and converse with the Talent Team Lead to have a full-scale understanding of hiring needs and job descriptions for open roles.
- Advise hiring managers by providing an overview of the program, as well as guidance on our policies and procedures.
- Ensures confidentiality, privacy, and compliance with all employee information.
- Support the Campus Program Lead by assisting with program initiatives and actively participating in events to promote the brand on campuses.
- Act as a Geotab culture ambassador, representing and promoting the company's values and work environment.
- Assist with other HR projects/tasks as assigned.
What you'll bring to the role
- Completing a University degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills, as well as a willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
- Passion for technology, innovation, talent acquisition and human resources.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at a time.
- Familiarity with Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides) is an asset.
- Prior experience in recruitment or HR is an asset.
