Compensation Analyst

As a Compensation Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing compensation data, ensuring pay structures are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our company objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of compensation principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
- Compensation Analysis: Conduct market research and salary benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation practices. Analyze internal job structures and pay scales to identify and address pay disparities.
- Data Management: Maintain and manage compensation data and databases. Prepare and analyze compensation reports and metrics to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
- Program Development: Assist in the design, implementation, and management of compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and benefits.
- Policy and Compliance: Review and ensure compliance with compensation policies, regulations and best practices. Stay updated on labor laws, regulations and industry trends to ensure our compensation practices are legally compliant and competitive.
- Advisory Support: Provide guidance and support to People business partners and management on compensation-related inquiries and challenges.
- Communication: Develop and deliver communication materials related to compensation programs.
- Project Management: Lead or participate in special projects related to compensation, such as job evaluations, salary surveys, and compensation audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and streamline processes that impact compensation process execution to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
The Skills and Qualifications You Need:
- 5+ years of experience working in compensation or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in compensation management software.
- Advanced Excel proficiency required
- Knowledge of compensation trends, best practices, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
